You won't see a performance difference, but what you will see is if you do any towing or mountain driving your temps will stay lower due to the increased capacity.
The best thing to do would be pull off the grille of your Expy and have your self a look. Measure everything out really well to get the alignment that you want and if all you have is the fiberglass support it's ok.
Some people use pieces of metal on each side to make the mount stronger...
I was in a toss up between the Crave and the Godfather's, but I would go the Crave's clean looking and so much easier to keep that way plus they will show off your caliper covers really well!
Yeah the 4x4's sit much higher than the 4x2's do. Not sure what is up with the expo that you posted the link to, mine sits pretty much level. Here is a pic of my 2wd '02 Eddie Bauer ridding on stock 275/65r17's.
If I where you I would gut your front 2 so your angle stays the same, and then replace the rear 2 with the cats that you have ( or have some pipe bent up to match the front angle) the o2 is before the cat on the fronts and after on the rears so it really dosn't matter the placement as long as...
I only have the 2 stock front cats and straight pipe in place of the rears and I still leave chevys (unloaded) off the line when pullin a LOADED 18' trailer.
You will not loose a lot on the lower end, but you WILL REALLY gain on the upper end. The high flows should work pretty good, you may...
My '02 runs 2 1/4" stock pipes and yes the high flows should work with out a problem. You will loose a little power (tq) on the lower end, but it makes up for it in the top end (hp) and a slight fuel economy increase! It will also not shift out of OD as much on slight inclines due to the...
If the drivers side cats are almost completly plugged then yes there could be enough back pressure on the one bank to make it run like you are discribing. The excess fuel you are seeing in the passanger side exhaust could be what is left over from the poor running conditions just dumping out...
Agreed Sony products have definatly been lagging. I have noticed that the screens like to lock up or freeze alot too, they are very slow in my opinion.
I have always had great luck with Pioneer products, but if I where you go to your local audio shop and play around with all the decks and...
I thought about the SAS but i really don't do any major off roading. This is still my family hauler and I do alot of interstate driving, but it would be nice to be able to get to a few of the camp sites that we can no longer get to.
Once the days of family hauling are over then I will...
In this post you mentioned that you had white smoke while it was running, and now you are saying that inside the cat is wet.
If I where you I would be doing a cooling system leak down test because the symptoms you are describing almost sound like you may have a blown head gasket on one bank...
The truck may stay in the garage, but when you wash it do you wash it by hand or do you drive it thru a high pressure wash?
Sometimes the leak can be bad enough that you will get the water even just by hand washing (desert heat tends to shrink things - I live in southern New Mexico so I am...
Thanks you guys for all the responses I really appreciate it. We are really excited for the addition to the family, we got lucky and had my daughter and now my son so no more for us ( once I pay of the Ex then I will have to get my wife a new mini van).
I am pretty sure there will be a pretty...
I will definatley do it right the first time. Right now I am just looking to see if everything will work ( which I belive it will ) then it will be time to save up the money.
My son is due to be born tomorrow so it will easily be 6 months + till this gets done, but that will give me time to...
The intake manifold on the Expi is actually plastic, but in the front of the motor there is an aluminum water/coolant passage (looks like that is where your arrow is pointing) wich has your heater hose and thermostate in it. More than likely it is just a simply gasket repair. should be pretty...
The LT tires will have c,d, and e ratings as well but they are a stronger tire. They do require more air pressure in them to achive the higher loads thou so the ride may get a little "stiffer". Most (if not all) tire manufacturers carry a LT series, just talk to a sales person at your local...
And to this reply, If you would have actually READ the posters question you would know that the only thing he was looking for where the programming procedure.
Also the remark on negativity - why are you going to make a smart a** comment about this person should have used google. This person...

Take it back to the dealer in which you bought it hand have them inspect it to make sure there are no issues. There are a few different things that it could be and none of them are easy to determin without actaully being able to see and hear the vehicle.
The length of the trailer does not matter as much as the Weight of the trailer.
The main thing that you need to watch is the weight of the trailer. According to the owners manual for your Expedition you have a GCWR (Gross Combined Weight Rating = Expedition + All persons and cargo + trailer)...
People come to this site for help and not for negativity!
And yes some times you do need to reprogram the keyless entry fob after changing a battery. Some times you have to reprogram them for no known reason and that is what this site is for. TO HELP PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!
I run LT 275/60 r 17's on mine and do a considerable amount of towing with it and they hold up fine. The LT's are made for light duty (1/2 ton) trucks and SUV's and with the load you are talking about they will do fine.
It won't let me upload any pic's right now but I regularly tow a 18' car...
