    Go with the JBA in either stainless or Ceramic coated. You will need that if they salt the roads in the winter up there. You will notice a slight power improvement and a change in exhaust tone. You will also hear a little more valvetrain noise coming from the engine compartment. Matt R

    try and locate the sound. Use a friend to have someone turning the wheel and then someone listening for the squeaking so you can locate exactly where it is coming from. Matt R

    if this all started when the alternator was replaced then look around the area of the alternator for a loose harness. Also pull the codes for the check engine light to see if that will give any clues..... Matt R

    and depending on how much the cut off the rotors also contributes to the warpage. The thinner the rotors the less heat they will take before they warp again even if you are still within specifications on minimum thickness..... Matt R

    that is a good question.... I have the heated mirrors on my 03 and they activate when I use the rear defrost. I would ask the dealer what it would take to upgrade. Act like you are interested in buying the parts from them.....LOL Matt R

    I have the Kenwood DPX701 with the HD tuner opton in mine. Love It.... the Double Din Mounting Kit really makes it look nice inthe dash. Just lookup in Crutchfield what will fit yours. They are pretty good with the fitment guide.... Matt R

    The stock engine is fine for moderate levels of boost on premium fuel. Heads/cam/intake mods add power but actually put more stress on the engine because you have to rev the engine higher to get that power out of it. High RPMs put more stress than the engine than the typical supercharger...

    Yep the best thing for these truck's efficiency is the stock pipe size with a better muffler..... Have you checked your actual mileage vs what the computer is telling you? That just seems like an aweful big jump in economy... Matt R

    The 05 and newer Expeds use the newer Power PC processors and have a CAN bus. The 04 and older are EEC V but the 04 and 03 are in the 3 connector computer package that is under the hood just like the newer Power PC computers. Matt R
