Ouch!......
Actually it was an experiment to see where the weak link was on the rear suspension on the new Expeds..... Now the aftermarket can address this issue since obviously there is a strength issue here for the hopped-up expeds and Ford used this setup on the 03 and up trucks. This...
The lean bank code means that the computer has added fuel to the maximum of it's trim range. This can be caused by anything that is either adding more air than the meter is measuring (vacuum leak) or taking away fuel on that bank (reduced fuel delivery). You are right, a completely clogged...
A leak is what I was going to point to as well. Anything that bypasses the mass air meter and allows air to get into the intake will throw this code. I was just curious because when this happens you usually get codes for both banks. Single banks lean codes can be something else like a plugged...
Start a new post for this please.
Please give us a description of how it operates normally and how it differs with the malfunciton.
We will try to be helpful.

It may be the factory amplifier gone caput.... do you have a factory subwoofer? Where is the amp for that thing? Does the fuse blow if you leave the radio off?
Matt
Don't do this.....LOL I killed my truck...
Well in my quest to find the limits of the new expedition drivetrain setup I found the weak link...... The rear CV axles! This was caused by:
1. Disabling all torque reduction during the shift
2. Having the shift set way too hard
3. 9 Lbs of...
Sounds like it isn't applying the intermediate clutch due to a leaking circuit. It is more than likely the piston seal for the intermediate clutches or something else in the clutch apply path. If was the accumulator it would merely shift too hard but it would shift. Will it shift into 2nd at...
make sure you get the programmer too right away so you can put the right gear ratio in the computer so the speedometer and shift points will be correct....
You will be very pleased with the total upgrade.

maybe on a mustang the 3.55 gears would be better. The I've got the 3.73s in mine and wish i had 4.10s but I can't find any gears for the new IRS rear end.....
I had one with a chunk of carbon in one of the hoses on a 99 F150 and after cleaning it never threw the code again......
Maybe I just got lucky I don't know....
Matt
That's why I recommend the sniper tuning software/programmer. It keeps growing with you. Whatever you do it can accomodate. It will even let you tune on the dyno and make changes to spark and fuel.
hmmm not sure... see if autozone has it so you can touch it. The vacuum regulator is what opens and closes the valve. If i had to guess the pressure sensor is the flow sensor. Just try cleaning yours first.... maybe it would be free to fix!
Matt
it is a flow sensor that measures pressure drop across an orfice. I don't know what ford calls it but it has two small hose connections that hook up to the tube that brings the exhaust to the EGR valve.
That is probably the EGR flow sensor and not the EGR valve. Those things get gummed up with carbon after a while. Ford actually measures EGR flow and not just the EGR position.
