    Yeah this is almost certainly an internal transmission problem. Probably a valve stuck in the valve body or a bad shift solenoid.

    Also if you are interested in doing a full suspension lift you should look at the 6" from Zone Offroad. I have there kit on my 97 f150 and I love it. I think the Expy version runs about 1600.

    I suppose that if the tach stopped working the computer COULD put the transmission in limp mode. Maybe? But the speedo is working? Do you sometimes have to wiggle the shifter to get it to start? Before you replace the cluster put a scanner on it and see if you can read rpm from the obd-2 port...

    You said you replaced the speed sensor I assume that was to try and fix the no speedometer problem? Sounds like the shift solenoid but I don't have enough info to say that for sure.

    This is a good idea. Maybe not the plug but for sure try changing the pack out with the old one or switch the #4 pack with the #1 pack and see if the miss moves too. It is not unheard of for a brand new COP to be bad.

    You guys are lucky I've seen cv axles snap with just 33's. I know I'm going to watch real close with my 35's until I'm sure it's going to hold up.

    Also may want to check the electrical connector going to the #4 injector. It's possible it got unplugged when you were changing the plug or COP

    There are only so many parts in the fuel system. It basically has to be the pump, filter, regulator, or maybe an injector. I'm betting on filter or pump. Of course I have been wrong before lol

    When you turn the key on the pump will only run a few seconds so it's hard to get a pressure reading that way. When you accelerate hard under load like a big hill does the engine clatter?
