Ah I have never even looked into these... Figured just switching over my tpms sensors to my 35s would be good. The tire shop said something about programming them but I'm not sure I was listening I was too busy drooling over my tires lol

Well I took the gamble and got the output shaft speed sensor for the tranny this morning... Should be here Friday HOPING more than anything that this works and I can drive it again. Here's a pic of the part I'm replacing.
The second pic shows the new motorcraft replacement with the P# thanks...
Ok have an idea... Might be a waste but since I can't find anything or throw any codes I think it's worth a shot... Going to replace the transmission speed sensor first but think I'll end up doing more of the sensors if that doesn't fix it... Before they're replaced I have a FREE reflash coming...
Well like I said, I'd post mine... I'm going to need to trim to trim the front valence and even the bumper a bit to get them to turn at full lock and if j really wanted to be generous I could trim the inner fender a bit too

Well here it is.... Unfortunately can't drive it due to something going wrong in tranny and throttle... But she's up there now!

No they happened after I was towing a 400-600lb trailer through a dusty road for about a mile or 2... Then after taking the highway home when I got on a backroad to drop off trailer it had the shifting problems and lagging/bogging and after cleaning the underbody it was the same as before... I...
Figured I'd able to test them individually but the more and more I read about what happens with bad solenoids in tranny the more it seems like it's not what's wrong with my truck.. If it came to it, I wouldn't have an issue just replacing all of them... I'll be cleaning connectors etc tomorrow...
Ohhh! Ok... So spraying connections with some MAF sensor cleaner or something good or should I just clean them with air and dry tools? If that fixes my issues then you are some kind of hero

The trans harness? So you're telling me there's connection on the exterior of the granny that can get dirty and mess with shifting/accelerator functions? Yikes this is getting better and better lol

Well today i tested about everything i could in a driveway an we are thinking that it could be the shift solenoids in the tranny... reason being is that everything seems relatively of ok but the tranny shifting way too early on its own is what is seeming to be the problem .... will do some more...
Shoot I didn't even notice you have out /15" wheels lol... Yeah the brakes are way too big to go anything less than 17... I'm pretty sure I have several millimeters maybe centimeters before they are touching the inner rim on my 17s lol ....but anyways if all hopes as planned I'll post some pics...
I'm leaning more and more towards the reflash... im going to scan it all today so i'll see anything pending and all percentages and that should give me a good idea... i got a quote from a MA ford dealer for a reflash at $112...
Idk if you already my post in response to stamp but mu uncle is a retired mechanic, over 30 years, and he has an excellent scanner at his house i'll be headed down there tomorrow and see what its telling me.... on f150 forum there is a group of people with the same exact issue and one guy had...
been testing things all night stamp with help from my uncle and found out the truck stuck in 4wd... it was a bad IWE solenoid, luckily i had already bought the updated solenoid so i installed it and fixed that problem but i still have the same issues as before...
before reading your post the...
So the throttle body i cleaned a bit more and and MAF was cleaned and also i put on a brand new air filter... all back together i drove the truck down the road for about a quarter mile and it almost seemed fine but i stopped at the end of my road for a moment or 2 and got going again and it did...
Well now that I've done some research I think it is supposed to have a slight gap on top and bottom of butterfly and it isn't supposed to be flush.... Correct me if I'm wrong

So today I've just taken off the throttle body and cleaned it...
as soon as i removed the airbox i saw that the throttle body butterfly was not sitting close to flush at the angle it is supposed to be and that the way it is air can pass through on top and bottom of the butterfly, (maybe TPS?)...
Min hardly had the phaser noise it was definitely more a VCT solenoids issue in my case because I have almost no noise at all when driving along... My suggestion is obviously to start with the two solenoid because they are cheap and take less than an hour to do and also switch to Mobil 1 full...
Not really with ease lol but they should fit... I would looking into what gearing you have in the 08, my 06 has 3.73s and I read that's just enough to turn the 35s properly and anything below you should think of a regear but I wouldn't doubt you'd be fine without one and just getting a...
Thanks, and I plan on that today.. The MAF is really what thinking/hoping that it is but no CEL is what is making me lean towards to other things I plan on taking it to a repair shop to see if they can find any codes in the system that didn't throw a CEL

Even with the odd shifting conditions that I am experiencing?
Also if it is a failing MAF could this be solved by possibly thoroughly cleaning the MAF instead of replacing it?
Thanks stamp
