Power loss/poor throttle res. in 2006 5.4L
Well I'm thinking that the truck is in limp mode, (that's how severe the power loss is). I have no CEL still and it almost won't go at all unless I punch it then it will go through the gear slowly and get me up to normal driving speeds (40mph). Haha I hear ya my mother will be beat me if I make it too too loud... I'll check them out I'm thinking about taking off everything after the cats for a couple weeks because my muffler has a pretty significant hole in it.. I know, there are tons of threads with probably the same title but hear me out if you will... Yesterday (7/24/16) it was about 94°F I loaded up, maybe, a 400 lb total weight trailer with one canoe. So here's my new plan/thinking... Might be pricing but whatever I guess... I'll get the magnaflow catback and after the cats where the magnaflow muffler would normally be I will buy an aftermarket resonator and delete the muffler so it'll be almost straight piped while retaining the cats...- Gruz7

Test fitted my pro comps today... Fit perfect just need to get some skinnier aftermarket lug nuts.... Here's a quick pic gonna give me about 1-1.5" of negitave offset which is pretty cool but, no 35s yet (still). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- Gruz7

Hmm.. Not a bad option, so far I'm leaning towards just a brand name catback system like magna or flow... My 03 had the magnaflow and sounded pretty good but just wasn't quite as loud as I would have liked. Flowmaster says moderate/mild tone all over theirs so idk if that's where I'll head...- Gruz7

2003 2WD EB Steering Stabilizer
Ok that makes sense! But no I'm afraid the forum I took that pic of the F150 from only had the front view pic... But if you go online and see the fabtech stabilizers come with only a couple bolts and 2 brackets so I imagine it's very simple and easy to put them on the F150 and shouldn't be too...- Gruz7

Interesting... So since they seem to only have surface rust and no damage maybe I'll just keep the cats on there for now... And oh yeah I've heard those lol muffler delete is REAL loud...
