Well I'm thinking that the truck is in limp mode, (that's how severe the power loss is). I have no CEL still and it almost won't go at all unless I punch it then it will go through the gear slowly and get me up to normal driving speeds (40mph).
I am currently disconnecting the positive cable on...
Lol, oh yeah I had the muffler off my old hummer for a bit while I was in high school... The vortec would scream coming out of my driveway at night and my mother would call right away

Trying to figure out this power loss issue I'm having... ALSO, my 35s are here and will be on the truck Friday, lack of power is really be setting in when it tries to turn 70 lb wheels lol so I gotta figure out how to get the pep out of this 5.4

Haha I hear ya my mother will be beat me if I make it too too loud... I'll check them out I'm thinking about taking off everything after the cats for a couple weeks because my muffler has a pretty significant hole in it.. Then I'm expecting it be very loud for a little while until I put a new...
Ha. Funny you should post this I just made the almost exact same thread in the 2003-2006 forum, I'll keep you updated if I find something I think may be helpful towards your 2002's issue.
I know, there are tons of threads with probably the same title but hear me out if you will...
Yesterday (7/24/16) it was about 94°F I loaded up, maybe, a 400 lb total weight trailer with one canoe. Expy towed it fine like usual. I drove 1 hour down to the canoe spot and ended up having to take...
Think I messed something up by taking through a lot of dusty trails while towing a canoe.... Have an extreme power loss in the low end of every gear when accelerating and slightly harder shifting

Chrome spline style lug nuts just came in for the pro comps... I really am starting to finally get excited about this expy build

Lol stamp.... Ok so since I was planning on doing it quick I guess I'll stick to the magnaflow catback... I don't really need super loud anyways so that will be good... Should be a little louder when I get the k and n on and a slight tune

Sounds like something with the compressor, is it kicking on and staying on while the AC fluctuates? Or is the compressor going on and off?

So here's my new plan/thinking... Might be pricing but whatever I guess...
I'll get the magnaflow catback and after the cats where the magnaflow muffler would normally be I will buy an aftermarket resonator and delete the muffler so it'll be almost straight piped while retaining the cats...
Haha soon enough boys... I am shaking in my boots to see this thing with the Duratracs on it! About 2 more weeks and she'll be looking right

Test fitted my pro comps today... Fit perfect just need to get some skinnier aftermarket lug nuts.... Here's a quick pic gonna give me about 1-1.5" of negitave offset which is pretty cool but, no 35s yet (still).

Hmm.. Not a bad option, so far I'm leaning towards just a brand name catback system like magna or flow... My 03 had the magnaflow and sounded pretty good but just wasn't quite as loud as I would have liked.
Flowmaster says moderate/mild tone all over theirs so idk if that's where I'll head...
Ha! I washed mine as well... About 3 times because it kept raining... Also checked my current tailpipe and exhaust to see how fast I'm going to be able to replace it with a magnaflow

Ok that makes sense!
But no I'm afraid the forum I took that pic of the F150 from only had the front view pic... But if you go online and see the fabtech stabilizers come with only a couple bolts and 2 brackets so I imagine it's very simple and easy to put them on the F150 and shouldn't be too...
I think j your best get is getting some kind of kit for the F-150 (04+) and just fabbing it to fit the expedition.
Looks something like this...
Also I think the question needing to be asked is why do you need steering stabilizers on your 2wd Expy?

Interesting... So since they seem to only have surface rust and no damage maybe I'll just keep the cats on there for now... And oh yeah I've heard those lol muffler delete is REAL loud... Not sure if that's how hard I want to go or not... Might get the magnaflow catback and put that on with the...
