    My camper is a bit heavier and on flat and downgrades, my expy is usually in 6th in tow haul. Western MD here, but have towed up US 15 to Harrisburg, then 76 to Morgantown. Headed to Shawnee State Park and Shanksville this weekend.

    Hope you made out OK. I just Switched my WDH to a Reese "Strait-Line" And had the dealer install. The hatch now opens but it does rub the electric jack cover.

    Does it have the factory installed 7 pin connector and factory brake controller? If not, It does not have the HD Tow package whick allows for the 9k Tow capacity with a WDH.

    I dont think your axles are rated for the max towing. Looking at mine, the max payload packages increases my GVWR to 7760LB where yours is 7500. Your axles/ suspension may not be able to hand the distribution of weight by the WDH

    2017 factory brake controller

    My local dealer told me the same thing after having my ‘17 Xlt El for 3days. I gave up and bought a hopkins 7 pin and brake controller and had that working in 20 minutes.
