Empire Ford is the closest to the general DC area since you have "Washington" as your location.
Empire Ford in NY state does not have that type of volume either, nor does the Washington, NJ dealerships, care to whittle it down to a state, or are you afraid someone might stalk you to find out...
Sorry, I've yet to find a dealer floor plan that shows 13 Expeditions on one lot or even on order (Floor Plan is far less for a high end vehicle such as the Expedition on the central east coast) for one dealership within a 80 mile radius of Washington, DC.
I don't care where in Washington you live, just the name of the dealership, as it is worth a trip over if they have that much inventory on the lot.
Feel free to PM me if you like.
Bill
Perhaps, but did you see their configurations, or their ADM? I was just up in the DC area two weeks ago and stopped at several dealers, not one of them had a heavy duty towing package and 4X4 configurated on the lot. Not sure why a dealer in Virginia, a state that receives more than it's fair...
I've always bought off the lot (IE: Dealer floorplan), or had a dealer trade another for what I wanted. In this case in time, in the year 2022, there is a change in how a dealer "floorplans", in the case of the Expedition, they are being guided by Ford as to what they should order and place on...
Back to the original subject, a quick review of the Canadian Fleet order sheet I saw two days ago (no, I am not in Canada :D ), it appears fleet orders for the Expedition do not reopen till August 2022. So if you want to cancel your order, expect more delays and a several thousand dollar uptick...
As posted elsewhere on the forum:
Placed my order 1/24/2022 for a new 2022 Expedition XLT
Color: Iconic Silver
Black Active X seats
2nd row power bench (2nd row Captains chairs now standard)
202A equipment group
HD Tow package
Auto start-stop delete (confirmed still available by special order...
I'm in the same boat as you (confirmation email 1/24), however, I know a little more about the behind the scenes scenario (Disclaimer: I do not work for Ford, nor have I ever directly worked for Ford corp, but have friends who do across the country), at this point in time, due to supply issues...
Bring this back to the top, as of yesterday, I'm a big fan of the element fire extinguisher having seen an up close demonstration.

For the Expedition, this might be the best bang for the buck, and the easiest to carry around. A bit pricey, but I plan to order one for...
Did you get an email confirming the order?
If yes, like myself, be patient, if no, then your dealer may not have included that in with the initial order.

Unfortunately, from experience several years ago, it does. Almost had a friends Birkin "7" go up in flames. Grabbed my portable from my race trailer, and stopped the car from a severe meltdown. Dash and main harness were the only casualties. This after two separate racers grabbed their portable...
Coming from a racing background, we switched from Halon/chemical extinguishers about 20 years ago and switched to a AFFF (Aqueous Film Forming Foam) based fire suppression system. For your Expedition, I'd suggest a 1 liter unit like the following (there are others)...
Most likely, because you did not ask. In my case, it was two days after my initial order was placed that I went back and amended my order to add the 50T as I made sure to continue my research and discussion with my wife, who requested the additional option for what it brought to her driving...
