bunch of mechanical issues
#1 sounds like torque converter shudder. It usually starts with the O/D and will eventually move onto other gears. If it just started this recently you could change trans fluid yourself or take it to a place like Jiffy Lube and have them do a fluid exchange. If you take it to a shop they usually...- rburch

Where to mount brake controller.
I would recommend putting it in the cubby hole. You wouldn't be putting holes in the dash and you wouldn't see those holes.- rburch
