"03-18-2011 08:33 PM" was the last post I left on this site.
Now, I am back! A lot has changed in my life. No longer in high-school, 3 vehicles later, and I am back to where I belong. Back to a Ford Expedition. Here is my automotive story...
Thanks pal! It's called the Gott's Mod and its basically widening the opening of the intake mouth and lets the engine breathe easier. You can do it with the K&N drop in filter. I did. Here's the write up I used to do my Gott's Mod...
Well, I can tell you that I cant get my rear tires to break lose either. Even torque launching it in the rain. So its not just you... Um from what you described some people might suggest the fuel pump or fuel filter as the culprit but I really have no idea.
Clean the MAF more often? I forgot about that.... How often should I be doing that? Gee wiz, I hate taking mine out because the GOTTS mod made everything so tight and hard to put back.
I saw this on my way somewhere and I tried to get some pictures but they turned out not so hot and my passenger couldn't get it in time either. But I'll share anyways.

I admire your self control....if that happened to me, I would go bananas!
But If you're really not looking for anything more than what you had, I'd just replace it with a stock unit to avoid the hassle of a new system.
I know 3 people who have the BFGoodrich Mud Terrians and they love them.
1) 96 Jeep Cherokee 2) 99 Chevrolet Tahoe 3) 03 Z71 Chevrolet Silverado.
They look GOOD, from what they tell me they last a long time, and here in southern VA people go muddin here too as well as beach driving and only...
Just dont put those metal "balls" on it. Thats so tacky. The coolest thing I've ever seen on the tow hitch was a little electronic deer (a bit bigger than a barbie doll) sitting on the tow reciever and everytime the truck would brake, something would light up red on it (maybe his eyes) but thats...
Wow....I can't believe this...freaking vinyl. That blows! I knew it felt odd compared to my Dads Murano's Leather...and our couches. This really makes me sad and not as proud of my truck.
Those dont look right.... I think they got the year wrong or that they're just for the Navigator because the "feet" of the cross bars dont look like the slide on kind from the first and second (03-04) generations of the Expedition.
