I have my shifter cover pieces at my local shop getting some dipping done to them right now. Wasn't my first choice in pattern but they had it in stock and I figured what the hell. If I like the way the shifter covers come out the rest of the wood in my 07 will be getting the same treatment...
As with you and seemingly everyone else in this thread, I'm somewhat a perfectionist and I'm really anal about things looking right. Is it noticeable when you're not driving up to a flat surface? I've been considering getting the whole kit from TFS rather than the cheap eBay Morimoto knock-offs...
I've noticed that the part numbers for the pieces are no longer on the main page. I'll post them tonight when I get around to doing mine later tonight.
EDIT - The part numbers needed are 9L1Z-17526-A and 9L1Z-17528-B.
The only other thing I noticed going through your pictures is that the driver headlight on the wall seems to drop off much sharper and dramatically than the passenger side one. Is this a trick the camera is playing or is it an actual issue?
99.9% typical BS. Some guys can see the code with a bright flashlight. I had to unbolt mine. If I remember right, it was only one nut and took less than 3 minutes.
I am hoping to accomplish this retrofit over the next month or so as long as side work keeps flowing in and I don't get bent over on taxes.
Also, just spit balling here... does anyone see this being a viable option for the fog lights?

The one in my 07 was located behind the Smart Junction Box (SJB or fuse box) in the passenger side kick. You have to unbolt it and remove it to see the label behind. Bold 5 digit number
When I did the system in my 07, I pulled the e-brake/bracket and used a piece of RG6 to push through the boot into the door. From start to finish, including time to smoke a couple cigarettes and scratch my head, I think it took about 40 minutes to get 2 sections of 12ga in.
Charly,
I was typing my post as you posted that last night. Thank you very much for the pictures, looks very simple. Got any tips for getting them off?
Matt,
PM About to be replied.
Thanks guys!
Matt,
Are there any pictures in the manual? Or replacement part numbers by chance?
Jason,
I didn't see anything pertaining to shifter removal but it looked pretty detailed in assistance of removing the console.
If the check engine light isn't coming on with the ignition switch on and the motor not running then the bulb is burnt out or someone yanked it.
Get the DTC codes read.
Unplug the mass air flow sensor and see if the condition changes. Unplug the throttle position sensor and see if the...
Hey guys, first time poster here. Just picked up my 07 EB a little over a month ago, and I am tired of looking at the wood grain. I'm going to learn how to do hydrographic film application and replace the wood grain with marble. At least that's what the plan is.
Anyway, I know how to get...
