    My Expedition Modifications and Write-Ups

The sensors will work with pretty much whatever wheel you need them to. They are strapped to the wheel via adjustable straps and a bracket with adhesive.

    My Expedition Modifications and Write-Ups

H&S makes a tuning system for the 6.4 PowerStrokes. Just read that H&S has also released a daisy chain device that allows for disabling/adjusting the TPMS system on those trucks. Maybe the light at the end of the tunnel is coming soon?

    My Expedition Modifications and Write-Ups

Awesome. I'm halfway considering taking one of the sensors apart now to see what I can hack together.

    My Expedition Modifications and Write-Ups

Thank you, sir! Update on the TPMS issue. Drove home with the new pipe last night. For the first 20ish miles, the error was "Tire Pressure Low". After that, it become "Tire Pressure System Fault". When I left for work this morning, there was nothing, no chimes, lights, errors. :headbang...

    My Expedition Modifications and Write-Ups

Just took a drive with the new pipe. Results are better than yesterday, but still not where I need them. Yesterdays results were the same as not having any sensors within range. My results now are showing "Low Tire Pressure". I will give this one a couple days, checking pressure constantly. If...

    My Expedition Modifications and Write-Ups

If you have a low tire, replace it with the spare, and fill up the low tire leaving the spare mounted up, drive the required distance for the system to reset, the error and light will go away. I don't believe that the Ford system is that advanced. If it were, it should be able to tell me which...

    My Expedition Modifications and Write-Ups

A seat belt is a safety device as well, one required by law here. Needless to say, it isn't one that I follow. If I cared about being safe, I wouldn't leave my house. But here is why I don't care for TPMS. I don't need a flashing light and message on a display to tell me when my tire is low...

    My Expedition Modifications and Write-Ups

I don't have anything good to report. I think the material that I used to make a pad between the sensors is too thick and pressed too tightly together to let the air past the first sensor. Going to cut it open and make a new one in the morning. F150 and mustang guys seem to have decent luck...

    My Expedition Modifications and Write-Ups

Well... I finally got around to doing the "pipe bomb" for my TPMS sensors. Waiting to get out of work to place it in the truck and see if it does the trick. Will post a picture and results after this evening.

In dash dvd and flip down

Pioneer AVIC-Z series head unit with factory flip down. Most name brand head units have a "rear video" control option so you don't have to necessarily bypass the parking brake.

Gauge mounting options for 2007+ expedition.

You won't lose any of your air movement with that piece. Just the ability to aim it. I did one of these on my boss's Audi TT and made one for my Audi A4. If I were going to add gauges and they weren't going to be critical for performance monitoring (A/F ratio, Boost, Oil Pressure), I would...

    Installing trailer brake controller

If I were going to do this, I'd want the factory controller. Matt, a wonderful wealth of information as usual.

    Installing trailer brake controller

Yep... that looks like the plug I've got under my dash. Have the remote start wired into that harness for parking light illumination and brake shut down.

    Installing trailer brake controller

I'm semi-curious about this myself. I very rarely pull anything but I know that there is a trailer brake harness in the dash of my 07. Never checked at the rear of the vehicle but would assume there to be one as well.

    Direct Fit-Backup Camera

That's alright. My A4 makes up for it. It has a tinted cover and the LEDs that are in that don't spread light for crap. And the factory replacement bulb housings I bought for that thing are a joke.

    Direct Fit-Backup Camera

My beefs with this camera is that is isn't centered (I'm picky) and I don't want to give up my 6000K LED license plate bulbs.

    Direct Fit-Backup Camera

I assume it is EchoMaster... but then again, the way companies are these days it wouldn't surprise me if they bought them in from an outside supplier. EchoMaster I have an account with them, figured if they had them, I'd order a couple. But no such luck.

    Direct Fit-Backup Camera

I fixed your link. Also, I contacted the original manufacturer about these a few months ago and they had stated that they weren't intending on doing any more of them. I'm still debating on going custom or trying to get a factory camera/harness to hack up.

    Aftermark Rotors

With the research being done in Bernard's lifted thread on the interchangeability of the front ends between F150s and Expeditions, it wouldn't surprise me if you could use a F150 kit.

My EB Headlights for your Limited Headlights

Open those bastards up and paint them. Will take ya day if you work on them patiently and carefully. Throw some projectors in while you're there. Realistically, I think it only took me about an hour to an hour and a half to open each one up.

what price did you pay for your expy?

I picked up my 07 Eddie Bauer with all options other than navigation, power fold mirrors, power liftgate, sunroof, backup camera, and tow package, for 14,500 with 104K on the odometer last October. Exterior had small scratches and a small nick in the back bumper from being backed into something...

'99 Eddie Bauer Interior swap question(s)

Might consider your drive train swap into the donor vehicle instead. Might be about the same amount of work.

    Aftermarket Alarm

A properly placed and tuned impact sensor will go off long before the glass break sensor should a window be broken. If using a glassbreak sensor, I'd place it closer to the rear windows since most installers keep the impact sensors closer the the dash. I don't usually recommend a backup battery...
