I work in the auto parts business and I'll admit I see more women behind the wheel of the Expedition. However I tend to agree that the men will search out and participate in forums on a regular basis. You go girls!! Keep it up, glad to have ya around!
Have the lift, just haven't done the tires...YET! I'm heading towards 295 or 305/70r17, haven't made up my mind yet. Probably stay with the 295's so I don't have to shave the running boards.
Stability control defaults to the on position whenever the vehicle is turned off(thus no icon). The sliding icon should only be there when you manually turn it off via the dash button. Sounds like you have a sensor/electrical issue.
Have 2 girls, and when we travel each gets their own row. The DVD player helps too!
When the in-laws fly in, it's great to be able to load everyone into the Expy and go places. Also had the nieces in last year(+3) so carrying 7 total passengers isn't something you can do in a little 4 wheeler...
All my mods are in my signature. Just did a long run from Dallas to Galveston and I averaged 18.1 mpg running along at 75. I'm fighting a little more wind drag from the 3/2 spacer lift and my 3.73 rear will never be economical, but everything works for me.
Rock solid, no issues, and we road trip with the Expy. There's a hint more body roll but no problems with the suspension. The spacers affect the spring ratings of the coils but the overall geometry of the suspension remains really close to stock. Go for it when you get home!
Alright, i was curious as to how I did it in the past, so i went out to take a look at it. Access it from the third row laying on your back. Look in the direction of the bottom right side under the seat, you should see something like this...
The piece with the numbers stamped into it is the...
I had mine break about 2yrs ago, kids were being overly aggressive dropping the seat. The wire for the release crosses from top left at the flip handle down to the bottom right under the seat. You kinda have to stand on your head to see it attach to a bolt under the right side, then tucked up...
Seems like it would fit, no real big differences in motor design from 07-12 on the Expedition. But don't quote me on that!! I'd just be a little leary of changing the AF tank, and using the jumper MAF wire. To me, just seems like more things to go wrong. And if you were to get the ram air...
Nominal at best with the tuner. I have a couple more add ons(exhaust, K&N) along with my Hypertech running the 87 tune. I see 18+ mpg when out on the highway, however, I'm turning a 3.73 rear and pushing a touch more air due to the Truxxx 3/2 lift. Where I notice the biggest increase is the...
Running a K&N CAI 63-2575 and the Hypertech Max Energy programmer set to 87 tune on my 08. Nothing bad to say about the combination. My mileage is effected by the 3.73 rear and the extra air gathered by the small lift(Truxxx) but I still see 13-14 in mixed driving. If I let her run on the...
Looks to me that they have been replaced already. The fact that the part nos. are still legible and the white chalk lines on the tie rods tells me that someone has been in there. You could try throwing some shocks at it, but it might not achieve what your looking for.
