99.9% on road, and i did check the vents.
just got her back today. both rear seals done and had the brake fluid flushed. gotta clean up the wheel that got gear oil all over it otherwise i'm a happy camper again.
did you notice the doors did not change from 03-11? lol same door's and body structure.
the expedition had the big base..the f-150s(non super crew) have the smaller base.
started puking all over...filled the inside of wheel with gear oil, brakes..ect stunk like crazy. weird how it just happened like that since it was dry a few days ago.
whos had theres go on them? my friend with his '98 has been through 2 sets at 150k.
i just lost my left one the other day..soaked the brakes and everything..ugh so i just dropped it off tonight to have both sides replaced. i've only got 86k:flamingdevil:
you can get full coverage on anything..atleast in my state with the company's i have delt with.
i'm debating on buying a flat rate policy. we have them on our calssic cars. pay whatever it is to insure it for a dollar amount that does not change. so say you want to have full coverage and you...
same pads nothing else was changed, stock rotors had no issues. the cryo treated power slots(slotted..no drilling) have been known to give a better bite. say what you want but i drive the truck daily and the rotors made a large difference. i can lock them up now when before that was laughable...
not exactly true, the hoods on the 97-02 is also aluminum and they do not have this issue.
i have repaired a few expys(03-06) with this issue. after the repaint it never came back. i brought them down to bare aluminum and sealed, primed, base and clear'd them.
mines okay, i do want to flush the fluid and put decent rotors on it. but the pedal in my excursion feels much better. but i also have power slot rotors in it which made a HUGE difference!!!
mines alittle noisy. changing oil weight and filters helped. its been like this since i got it at 63k and at 86k now nothing has changed. i mostly get a rattle at start up then it calms down. i'd let it ride..but thats me
damn, i've never had any issues with my truck that were not age/maint related. gas and oil changes thats it. good luck with yours! no reason you should have so many issues.
every one of my trucks has had HIDs in non-projector or factory headlights since 2004 when i put my first set in my explorer. absolutely love them! if you aim them correctly you will never have a issue.
just about everything in my driveway has HIDs in it.
they look totally different to me but maybe its because i own both trucks?
i have the same LED tails but in smoke/clear
shot with both of my trucks next to each other.
