nothing with the expy today, but getting a new windshield in the excursion tomorrow.
Normally never would have happened as traffic in this town is horrible anymore. but it was 2AM so traffic was very light to non existent. i know right? i figured he would have given up after the first 2-3 but no he kept trying. i kept leaving him in the dust. finally on the last light he thought...
97-03 wheels are interchangeable.
you can use the wheels. only issue is you will need the correct size lug nuts for your truck. not a big deal at all.
btw great choice of wheel i would love a set!
i put a late 90s Tahoe to shame tonight at 8 red lights. he never could get past my rear door. then he was just a distant blip in the rear view. he really tried though!! the ol' 5.4 and 3:73s still pulls decent i guess.
my fords have no issues at -30F! we can spend weeks on end below -10 for a high temp.
-5F is nothing...like a walk in the park.
use your block heater if you have one, i park mine in the garage most of the time.

i drove my expy to dinner tonight. my other half has been...
i understand what your saying, it all comes down to personal preference. i can drive a manual all day and i'm pretty good with it. do i enjoy it? hell no! having a auto set up to shift the way you want if 100x better for me. once i got my programmer to set the shifts where and when i want i...
to help with the dust issue...if that is your only issue with them.

many of the MACK, Petes and Kenworth's i see go through my shop these days are all autos.
also look at your towing guids for any of the pickup truck manufactures. the automatic trucks have higher towing capacity's.
i gave my Expy a wash today. looks good...
i'm just glad they dropped the manual option on the new trucks. makes things much easier when truck shopping.
for the record i think the death of driving is traction control and roll stability control.
