Yeah I caught it, had a big chuckle and figured I'll just let it slide. I will mention it in my auto circles so we can all have a good laugh. I have heard and seen worse. Why bother to try and change someone if they feel something is right for them? I know a guy who would never ever change the...
Looking for a replacement satin chrome interior driver's door latch handle. I checked with the Ford dealer parts dept and Ford only offers a complete assembly for $160ish. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.
With 30,000 on my '16 and changing the oil every 3,000 it has gotten easier and routine. The very first change sucked. During the summer months I keep the fiber shield off for better cooling. Put it back on in the fall to keep the road salt out. The biggest hassle I find for doing the oil change...
I was also scared of the 6 cylinder...all our vehicles are V8 and off road stuff big engines too. I really like the power of the '16 Expy better than the '04 & '06. As for the speaker engine sound mine does not have that.
Am I missing something here??? Easier than the '06 Expy?? I guess the '17 is way different from the '16 as mine sucks! My '06 and '04 are super easy to change.
Snow plowing with any vehicle is the worst thing you can do to it just ask anyone who does it professionally. I don't care if it is an ATV or a Peterbilt tri axle. You don't think plowing with an ATV is not taxing the power train? Not wearing the belt or clutches more than just driving it on the...
You are correct. The reason I joined was because of a used 2006 I bought with issues (only used vehicle I ever bought). Now I stick around to help others and to pick up some tips. My '04 and '16 no issues.
This but a different model that is adjustable and drains straight down.....I put one on after the first pain in the a@@ oil change. Drains the oil straight down instead of sideways - what was a Ford engineer thinking about that day?
First off never buy a former rental....you know the snot was beat out of it. My '16 with 31,000 on it very reliable. Nothing so far only oil changes every 3000.
If you drive an Expedition, fuel mileage should not be a worry. I don't think most of us bought them because they are economical with fuel....If you have an Ecoboost, run premium all the time and get the most performance out of it...that is why you bought it.
I check my JLT can in my '16 every 1,000 miles until I get a good handle on what is filtered out for a given mileage. One time I waited until the 3,000 oil change and it was full, but that was in the winter and it was mostly water. Second part to answer your question...any vehicle with a PCV...
Stock tire size I run 36psi. If you look up the tire manufacturer's specs, the max weight rating is at 35psi. 36-44psi only stiffens the side wall with no increase in weight capacity.
I run the OEM bulbs in my '16 Expy and they are plenty bright enough. Impressive in fact. Jeez you want to be one of those inconsiderate drivers with blinding low beams? I do a lot of driving and those people are the worst to encounter on the road at night.
Gezz you guys. My '16 has almost 30K and so quiet sometimes I forget it's running while it is warming up or sitting idle at a jobsite. The loudest thing is the electric cooling fans when they kick on high speed. But it gets 3K oil changes religiously with Motorcraft Semi Synth, Motorcraft...
