99% sure you will(depending on the wiring harness they send you), there is an aftermarket harness you can use to specifically to keep the factory sub. something like this...
I had to have my right one replaced at 71k miles(threw the same code back in '08), I've been running a generic OBDII cat ($150 installed) and I got no problems im at 130k now
The actual sour apple green is a lil bit lighter than that pic but still a good "reference" to go from

I figured ex mil me too, and that back piece sucks to take off I had to remove it and vacuum broken glass out of the tailgate (long story) then you would have to run the wire thru the hole at the top then back to the deck too much work if you ask me

ebay... I've played around with 3 different cams (on my truck and friends) from ebay and they've all had the lines .... and some of the sony's have the option built in as an option
