Make sure to get hub-centric spacers (where the center hole in the spacer fits exactly over the hub) or you will have vibration issues. There are spacer shims that can make up the difference, you just have to measure correctly before ordering them.

Sounds like you have failing IWEs. (integrated wheel ends) which are essentially vacuum operated locking hubs. When they start going, they partially engage and make noise.
You can re program the fobs, but that won't actually cure the problem. If your mirrors are popping, it means that the mirror was probably moved manually (knocked or pushed by hand) So to re-align it, you need to do the same thing.
