    Help me find the best kit

    I read on the Ford Truck forums that the Cloyes kit was the best next to the Ford Racing kit. Others have had bad experiences with lesser grade kits and premature chain tensioner guide failures. I am planning on the Cloyes kit with melling pump.

    Its an older Pioneer, 400 rms/1500 max. So should handle that US Amp with no issue. I justput a new battery in the Expy as well, in hopes to avoid an electrical issues. Stereo equipment is too expensive to play that upgrade game like we used to. Hahaha, at least for me!

    Installed the Polk DB6501 components in the front doors; what a HUGE difference in sound quality! I didn't even add all the dyno mat or anywound deadener and there is a big difference. Should get to rear doors tomorrow. Kicks my ass nowadays.

    The little 4x100 amp is 5" x 5" x 1 1/2". Should have no issue sneaking it in as there appears to be plenty if space. I do plan on adding a small 12v fan just to keep air moving in there, I have done this with EVERY amp I have ever installed. Better safe than sorry.

    Got the rest of my required products to start the custom sub box. Also established that the 2012 Expedition EL Limited 4wd with factory Nav and Sync with factory sub has 2 factory amplifiers; 1 on top of sub box for sub and 1 in dash under factory radio for rest of system.
