    Literally took 10 minutes. I chose an illuminated one, is a deep blue. The draw is negligible, so I'm not worried about it killing the battery.

    Took out the dash cigarette lighter and installed a dual high output 2.4amp each USB port. No modifications required, well other than cutting the plug off and crimping on 2 butt connectors. Red/white is positive Black/white is negative Stays on all the time.

    Flip it upside down and mount it from underneath the radiator support above it. Should alleviate the interference from the ford emblem.

    Technically, no. In my honest opinion those are pretty good numbers for the mileage. What are the vacuum test results? What else makes you think its an internal issue?

    Great info! I'm getting ready to do timing chains on both my Expedition and the wife's 4.6 Exploder. Looking at the Cloyes set for both. Might try to sneak a set of cams into the Expedition if I can do it without wifey finding out.

    I would push for a full on 100k maintenance to be done, complete overhaul of timing components, fuel filter, trans/transfer case/diff fluids, the whole nine yards.

    Nope. I research, research, research, buy appropriately (right tire for the vic/situation), inflate properly, rotate often, ensure the vehicle is properly aligned. Replace worn steering/suspension components immediately.

    possible. try swapping plug and coil to another cylinder. if problem follows, its one of those. if problem persists i would look at injector, then leakdown test. leakdown will help identify lazy lash adjuster, bad rocker, worn cam lobe, etc.

    From what i have read all of the SSV trucks are LS, some of the new Navigators offered it in the 4.10 gears. Someone smarter than me will be along to give you exact info.

    I vaguely remember that study. From what I remember that was synthetics were first being commercialized to the civilian markets. Had to be almost 20 years ago. I have had my own experiences with higher quality oils and the Rotella Synthetic won me over with my Subaru. So, we'll see what we get...
