I have not had the problem with my expy but had a ford econoline van that did the same thing..they make an additive that you can pour in and after driving for a while it will quit..they call it torque converter shutter...trans shops will have this and so will NAPA..its a friction modifier red...
Debo check the power distribution block under the hood there are more fuses under there and your owners manual will tell you if there is a cluster fuse there or sometime if you flip the lid over of the box it will tell you there.

There are many threads on here...my personal preference is to order a set of pacesetter long tube headers and the off road y-pipe...take a saws all and cut the manifolds between the studs this will help release the tension off the studs and help come out much easier..
