    modifying headlights in anyway is pretty much illegal, whether it is retrofit, or pnp upgrade. just that retrofits are less disruptive on the road then pnp kits,

    What did you do to the expy today

    washed my '11 in the rain last night, ran wire to feed the video from the factory reverse camera into my kenwood dnx7190hd. installed a new rear cap on my xenon modified headlights to try to prevent moisture.

    as am update, i have managed to tap my factory installed reverse camera into the kenwood. only place to tap into wires are by the rear view camera, these wires run from the roof straight to the rear where the camera is! .

    the idatalink maestro unit is sold separately from kenwood navigation systems. i do not believe it is available online yet, was told that it should be available for ordering as of today 8/20. i managed to get mine directly from idatalink.

    Has anyone installed these headlights?

    these headlights will not be any if much brighter then stock halogens, i've read that the projectors used in these are very poor in quality. if you don't mind blinding incoming traffic, get a plug and play xenon kit. if you want to do it right, retrofit your headlights with projectors.

    More MPG

    i think you got it right there, here in nyc all we have is 10% ethanol gas, and i've never seen good mpg even on my smaller cars.
