Did you check out the link? Pretty much the whole thing!
Cutting loops and wiring in resistors... wondering if the Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface will work, it definitely looks easier to install.
Has anyone wired up a PAC Steering Wheel interface? The one I will be ordering is the SWI-PS for Pioneer/Sony radios. The Expedition-specific wiring instructions on their site seems a bit confusing to me. Anyone else done one that can help me out?
Here are the instructions on the PAC site...
Glad to hear it... I love the way your Expy looks with those dark rims and tint. Doesn't look almost 15 years old!
So did he let you help? Did you learn anything? Going to do it yourself next time?
This intrigued me... is it possible that both sides are cut so you can insert the key either way and it will work? If they cut one side for one vehicle and the other side for the other vehicle, maybe you just have to make sure to insert the correct side up for each vehicle?

Rather than try to figure out a way to keep the crossover anchored inside the door somehow, I realized there was enough room right next to the speaker on the inner door itself. So I had just enough length on the factory...
Just wanted to update that the above mic location works like a charm. People on the other end of the line can hear me, my front passenger and even my rear passengers with no problems.
