So the 2009 EL is now here, properly licensed and insured, and got its first inspection at the mechanic yesterday. Looks pretty good mechanically -- it needs one ball joint badly (no surprise here, probably original), needs the fluids done (again, not a surprise), and tires and brakes aren't too...- Nate Carlson

Yup! I'd like the updated instrument cluster and center stack if at all possible, which is why I'm looking to see if it's possible. From what I'm seeing so far, it doesn't look like that big of a price difference to purchase a wrecked Limited '14 versus a wrecked XLT '15, so figure the newer...- Nate Carlson

Yeah, that's my primary concern. I was hoping that the communications between the dash and the engine would be "generic", but really have no clue. :) Agreed - any recommendations for where to go for a quality diagram at a reasonable price?- Nate Carlson

Hey all! I just sorta "accidentally" purchased a 2009 Expedition EL XLT off Copart; I tossed in a bid that I never thought would win.. and, well, it won. :) It's a dealer vehicle (runs and drives, clean title, appears to be in pretty good shape), but is a pretty base model - cloth seats...- Nate Carlson
