My post was just showing the ELSD and tow packages are separate, nothing related to the axle codes. I think it was 2020 when they separated the ELSD into its own package and the axle code confusion started.
You could crawl under the truck and see if you see a cable going into the differential...
Mine is 3L as well. However if you read some more on this forum you will see that Ford uses that on both ELSD and non-ELSD from what I recall at least the newer model years. Here is the order guide showing they are separate options in 23:
The ELSD is an option outside of the heavy duty tow package for the 22 and 23. You have to order both packages regardless of trim (62E is the ELSD). For earlier model years the ELSD was included with the tow package (and some other packages) but Ford changed that. If it isn't listed on your...
I am not an oil expert by any means but my understanding is the new spec supercedes the old one so the oil is equivalent or better. Kind of like the API ratings on the oil. You can use a "letter" equivalent or newer but not older if that makes sense. Perhaps someone on here has more insight.
I haven't been able to try this lately but I think you just hold your finger on the map location you want to mark and it pops up a menu where you can give it a name. Similar to how you do it on Google maps. Have you tried that?
Received mine the other day as well. If you don't know how the headrests work and somehow installed them wrong and they came out during a crash it could very well snap your neck injuring or killing you. So it is safety related. Now every car has had headrests like that for a while so odds are...
It is normal, my 22 has it as well. When I first saw it I went on an F150 forum and it appears there is an additional coolant tank there for the power boost engine. The dent is so the tank fits there.
Cam phaser replacement was a customer satisfaction program not a recall which is safety related. Right or wrong their stance is it doesn't affect reliability or safety. The memo explaining the program is located on this forum.
My 22 wireless charges my Pixel 7 with no issues. Have you tried another phone to see if it charges? Have you wirelessly charged the 7a on another charger?
I believe there are a couple threads on that topic. Here is one:
Thread 'Condensation in light assembly. Normal?' https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/condensation-in-light-assembly-normal.34763/
I haven't noticed that on ours, they seem to be pretty tight, at least right now. You could put a small piece of foam/sponge material in between the louvers to prevent them from turning. Wouldn't damage anything I can think of. I haven't tried it to confirm it would do the trick but I think it...
The 22 model year was the refresh year so the interior dash and front/rear exterior design is slightly updated over the 21. The large center screen (15.5 inches with Sync 4a) is an option on 302a, 303a, and 304a Limited trims levels. It is not available on the 301a Limited trim level. So based...
In 2022 that combination had the 360 degree cameras which included the front one. The 2023 order guide from August 2022 shows that is still included. Now having said that, Ford changed the 2022 order guide several times through the year removing items due to chip shortage etc. Not sure if they...
Everything I have read on here states the Timberline and Stealth Performance are more than just different tunes. They use a high output version of the 3.5 with different pistons, turbos, etc. The other trims are just different tunes like you stated. It's cool if I'm wrong, no heartburn.
In the...
The Timberline does have a different engine than my XLT. So maybe remote start is different somehow on it? I would find that hard to believe as well if the app remote start works.
The max setting is 10. Sounds like your other vehicle was scaled differently. Ford decided they wanted 1-10 vs 1-15. Assuming your trailer brakes are working correctly, what speed are you checking the brakes at? Perhaps you aren't moving fast enough. Here is what the manual says:
Note: The...
Auto start stop delete does not remove remote start. My 22 XLT has that delete option and remote start works.
When using the fob for locking and unlocking the doors, the fob light doesn't flash on mine. When you remote start it the fob light turns green.
For #2, are you talking about this button on the dash? That is to lower the third row head rests, not to power down the third row. Lowering the seats can only be done from back near the hatch.
The 2020 order guide states the 303A includes 22" rims and CCD.

No, not legally. If your payload is 1,700 lbs and you subtract 1,400 lbs for the people that leaves only 300 lbs for the trailer tongue weight and weight distribution hitch (WDH). You need between 10 and 15 percent hitch weight for stability. That would be 770 - 1155 lbs at the GVWR weight plus...
