i have done may different combinations and honestly tires to fit her current rims will be about $1800 for the tires she wants (nitto trail grapplers or toyo m/t's) and then putting plasti-dip on the wheels vs. $2200 for new tires and wheels then we can sell her current wheels to bring the total...
thinking of lifting it with the spacers and either getting new tires and rims or save some money and throwing on some nitto terra grappler all terrains or some nitto trail grapplers on my 22's... whatcha think?

well that explains it. if it is a special service vehicle, originally designated for police or other government agencies, it has the skid plates. you should have an upgraded alternator and some other things as well.
there are lots of problems with the 5.4 3 valve motor. plus who knows how the previous owner treated and maintained her. she still has a small miss, and i mean small but i still have to install the last coil, so i am hopeful that will cure it.
i wouldn't see why you would want to. i just cut out the muffler and put in a flowmaster 40 series, and put on a nice 4" stainless tip and called it a day

we are swapping out our 22's tomorrow, as well. Our neighbor has been eyeing up my wheels since we moved in and he came over oin sunday and asked if i would be willing to part with them. so we discussed it and he is trading mine for his.

Well we got it back and it is a lot better but still has a slight miss to it. I am going to go get some new coils tomorrow to make sure it's not one of them.
the car has 99,000 miles on it..
-spark plugs (replacements went bad in 3,000 miles... how does that happen, wtf?)

-brake caliper froze
-some transmission sensor
-some abs pressure unit
-vaccuum lines broke
-camshaft phazers
