Does anyone have a model and part number or direct link to some aftermarket or OEM 18" wheels with the correct offset that are bolt-on compatible with my 2023 Expo? I really would prefer not having to cut off the axle tips off. My 22 F-150 had to have rear axle replacement at 12,000 miles! I...
I posted in another thread how to take this area apart to replace the stowage container. You might start by popping off the trim on the sides of the console. There is a video linked here too: https://www.expeditionforum.com/threads/center-stowage-compartment-downgrade.58070/page-3#post-532757
Have you gone and driven another Expedition to see if it is the same? It sounds to me like there is nothing wrong with your SUV and you just expected it to ride smoother? Putting on Michelin or Pirelli tires might help a bit.
Yeah this is just crazy bad software. I had to use forscan to set my delay to 4 minutes.
To me this is a safety concern too. Ford could get a big lawsuit when someone's car is in the garage and crushes a toddler or cat or dog by coming back in unexpectedly at just the wrong moment. My dog...
I put in the tray today on my 2023. It does make that space a lot more useful for sure, so it is worth it. It was pretty much a waste before. I was going to make a video, but I found one on youtube that is not too bad. This might be a bit tough if you have never taken apart an interior to do...
The 4D is in the wiring harness. It can sense the start/stop indicator light and it can "push" the start/stop switch button. It remembers whether the start/Stop is on or off when the car is shut off. When the car is started the car automatically puts it "on", the 4D senses that it is...
Wow I am going to have to do this! The wireless charger is useless.
If you want really fast charging in the Expo the best way I have found is to use the cigarette lighter outlet. I have a "super fast charger" installed there that charges my huge samsung fold 6 from empty to full in less than...
Even though I inspected mine and it was fine, I was due for oil and tire rotation so I brought it to Ford. They inspected and passed it. The service manager said this issue is very, very rare, but because it can cause such an unsafe condition it is absolutely necessary to inspect every single...
You could always get some cheap plugs to keep dirt and moisture out and just be done with it. I like to have a set of these around to keep stuff out of my phone charger port etc.

I sure wish you could just set the interior sensors to off and have them stay off permanently. I always forget and my dog sets off the alarm when I am in the store... Alarms in general are useless except to go off when you don't want them to and make a ton of noise.
The charging situation is terrible, so I bought a charger to go into the 12v "cigarette lighter" outlet on the dash. It is small enough to close the door flush when not in use. This charger does up to 45 watts! I never knew "super fast charging" existed on my Samsung phone until connecting to...
I get all my work from the dealership under upgraded warranty package. The computer will have you drive about 10,000 miles between oil changes. The guy at the dealership recommended 7000-8000 miles because that is a better interval for rotating and balancing the tires instead of 10K.
Just for reference; a year ago I got my leftover 23. It was about $8000 below window sticker and they gave my 1.9% financing, so I jumped on it. It seems like the market is worse now for the sellers than it was a year ago. I would expect a better deal today, but not sure they can work with...
Wow! Thanks for posting. A friend of mine just told me about this earlier this morning! I just inspected mine and the gap is way bigger than 10mm. I can stick my finger between without hitting either side. In fact my thumb fits. Both of the clamps look good too.
Its a big trailer trailer but not too big for half ton or SUV. I would guess it weighs 2600 pounds empty. So you add a golf cart, two motorcycles and a bunch of tubs of equipment or whatever and it would be about 5000-6000 pounds with a pretty full load. With it empty it gets over 10mpg...
I just towed my 7x16 v-nose cargo trailer 1300 miles and averaged 8.7 mpg at 74 mph on I-95. The whole trip was fairly flat (no mountains). This one is dual axle and has a 7 foot interior height so it is really a high drag in the wind. It might get one mpg more when it is empty compared to...
I think my 23 got that update a while ago. My turbo gauge went away and became transmission temp too. My current update is 10.1.1 according to the app. This is the one that is supposed to ensure reliable remote access from the mobile app, but seems to have done the opposite...
Don't get me wrong, I really like my 23 Expedition since trading in my hybrid F150 for it. It's a great SUV all around...except the software has nagging bugs that should not be hard to fixat all. Examples:
I've always been disappointed by the response time of the phone app when trying to...
These SUVs are WAY too expensive to begin with, so we don't need a fake shifter to add to the cost. There isn't mechanical linkage any more from the shifter to the transmission, so having a fake console shifter that costs hundreds of dollars and takes up valuable space just doesn't make sense...
I really wish alarms were optional. In all my years owning cars with alarms in them the only thing they have accomplished is going off when I don't want them to go off and causing all kinds of noise. The Expedition is no different. Every time I leave the dog in the care I have to remember to...
