Wes, I posted this on another forum... I took my new 2011 to the dealer as this is definitely not the way a remote start should work. They said the same as others have posted on this site. Automatically picks up the Engine Temp, but you do have to go through X-Gauge Commands for the Transmission temp. Very easy to do. Once set up it is always an available gauge. So only needs to be done once.- Johnny Law

Trans temp
On my new 2011 Expy EL towing a 4-5,000lb boat up a 10 mile 5% grade in 95 deg ambient temperatures, I got a high of 196 deg Transmission temperature.
