I heard this on the radio this morning and the only online source I could grab an article from was MSN.com so put your political spin filter on if your read it. (for example the writer thinks: threatening to add to the cost of filling up a Mercedes or Lamborghini...only rich folks driving...
I hate those spill proof gas cans. I do spill more with them. I switched to a battery powered pump to put gas in my lawn mower. Is having to buy and use a battery powered device to save on spilling gas more environmentally friendly?
Everytime I think about the auto start/stop feature, It...
That would bug me too much, just like running around with giant rust holes around the wheel wells and rocker panels or mismatched paint panels. Might as well be Earl.
Would you mind asking if the Ford dealer will warranty the replacements? If 2 years from now assuming you still own it, would the same problem be fixed for free?
This is part of the reason Expedition values nose dive on the used market. Would you pay top $ for a used Expy of Navigator that...
OP did the Ford service advisor give you what are considered normal towing transmission & radiator fluid temps? See if you can get that in writing from them. If you exceed them while not going over the recommended weight loading. Take a pic or video for a 2nd check out. 2019 Expedition...
I'd worry less about your vehicle and watch what you eat and get some exercise. Then again if you get hit by an escape on your jog, it won't matter how safe your expedition is.
The following data is taken from the CDC's 2017 report .
Heart disease. Number of deaths per year: 635,260. ...
Found this interesting in the article:
In addition to that, many fleet customers only keep trucks this size for three or four years, so diesel’s long-term, high-mileage durability isn’t worth those engines’ higher cost.
Here are the search results from Autotrader for 2018-2019 Max Expedition 4x4 XL trim. Have to scroll down a bit to the beginning of the lowest priced ones. Upper 30s asking price. New ones here in the USA for asking price of $50k +...
Next time, if you didn't already, take some pictures or video of the high temps. That will show that this is an issue.
I have a 17 EL 4x4 without the heavy duty cooling and towed in Alabama summers in bumper to bumper traffic and through mountains in the summer in VA, PA & NY and have never...
Although I agree with this, you should see what some people put into Jeep Wranglers to go rock climbing.
I never thought I'd see people pay $80k for a Ford SUV in my lifetime.

I would think the throttle body is part of the powertrain. I think there has been a recall on these throttle bodies in the F150s.

Paying $46 after taxes for Ford's "the works" service. Oil (motorcraft semi-synthetic) & filter change plus tire rotation and overall check out.
It depends on your requirements.
I have 2 greyhounds that fit very well in the back of my 17 EL with the mid row seat backs up. I fold one of the middle seats up against the front and they enter via that side door. Fold the seat back and 3 passengers can also ride along. It's a bit tall...
It depends for me. If out of warranty and high mileage I've used Firestone, pep boys or Sears automotive in the past or a local mechanic recommended by co-workers. I may use Ford if replacing the turbos when I get above 125,000 miles.
I find it interesting. Most folks can't drive safely or even pay attention to the road. I'd gladly accept auto driving cars, once proven safe over texting manual drivers. I'll be safer on my motorcycle because of it. Now if the government mandates the use rather than consumer choice, I'd be...
I've never seen that either on multiple new vehicles, my 1st in 1989. Then again I've only had 1 new ford. Someone must of pulled the tape of before I got this used 17. LOL
Don't pull it off. It's holding the whole thing together. Only a factory certified Ford Technician can safely remove the "keystone" tape properly.
You would think that there would be someone at the end of the line to inspect it but Ford only makes $10-15 grand on each and can't afford that...
