    I installed 4 in channel rain guards on my 03 Expedition. The problem is a whistling noise from the driver's guard. All the others are fine. I made sure the tape was adhered and the window all the way up but at 47 mph and above whistling. Not to be outdone I used clear caulking around the...

    I never knew that the tubes run into the rockers. The water run off would cause rust but the salt and other chemicals they put on the roads also makes them rust. Did you get any pricing on repairing them yet?

    I would't be concerned about that small leak. It definitely can wait to be fixed. Keep an eye on your oil level as you stated and you should be fine. If some gets on the driveway try putting kitty litter on it to soak up the stain.

    That's a good price considering the truck has a new engine and nearly new trans. When you look at the price of the new vehicles it's a bargain. I'm sure it will give you get many years of service.

    You may be right about cutting off the A frame. I think it would flow better with the lines of the truck.

    Great pictures and good information for fixing the switches. I've also had some luck spraying TV tuner cleaner around the switches.

    That is strange,maybe some battery acid got on the paint. I know there are issues with the hoods and paint peeling but not on fenders.
