Without a strong incentive like a 100k warranty on the starters/battery and some release of on road long term tests which none of the manufacturers have done it is gambling with no benefit. One failure to start and respond can kill the driver and passengers in an emergency for no reason...- jrc50

No one has mentioned one of the main reasons I just bought a 2017 Expedition rather than wait for 2018...The 2018 will have STOP/START system that will force the engine to shut down at a full stop, then hopefully restart when you step on the gas, pretty much like a old mountain gas golf cart...- jrc50

Sync3 GPS output?
Along these same Synch3 lines, can the same front camera on a 2017 Explorer with Sync 3 be plugged into a 2017 Expedition Sync 3 and work on the screen?- jrc50

Accessories for 2017 Expy
One of the items I do wish my 2017 Expedition Limited had was the front camera playing into the NAV like on the Explorer. Does anybody know of an aftermarket unit that will bolt up or the parts & procedure for using the Explorer camera in the Sync 3?- jrc50

Gas mileage ?
My new 2017 Limited got the $8000 Ford Rebate plus 4100 Dealer discount plus $750 email from Ford on last minute discount (got night before made deal) plus $10K on a 2010 GMC Acadia with 94K. Original MSRP on Expedition ws $62K. I told my next door neighbor about the deals and he traded...- jrc50

Gas mileage ?
Just did first trip with new 2017 Expedition Limited, white frost/dune/standard length. Almost all flat interstate mostly 72-76mph, easy cruise. Actual measurement (not computer) 18mpg, guess that is ok given what I am reading here, only 400 miles on it Traded in 2010 GMC Acadia with 94K on...- jrc50
