New trailer brakes have to be burnished in. Lippert has an excellent video on how to do this.
When I replaced my trailer brakes they were weak until I did the above. Also be sure they ar adjusted properly. The wires on new trailers at the brakes can be faulty too.
Wow- did not know this. Threw away the one that came with the Expedition, however kept the one for the Transit. Bought replacement on Amazon for $6.
2019 XLT gas door does lock with doors locked.
If you have FordPass Connect/SYNC Connect, then you can have Wifi in your vehicle via AT&T. No other carrier will work with the built-in modem. We travel a lot & use Verizon for our cellphones, however have the Conncected Car service in our Expedition and Ford Transit. Sometimes (not too often)...
Love sarcasm, especially from a Site Team member! I'm not assuming anything; just asking a legitimate question, because I heard yes from many people that went in for a simple service related question and got talked into increasing their monthly bill with something they really didn't want. Your...
Connected Car has their own toll free number: (866) 595-0191. When calling them it is helpful if you know the AT&T mobile number attached to your account (not your cellphone number).

I tow a 4200# TT and had the Michelin Defenders on my Yukon. They ride nice, yet didn't wear very well. Had one set warrantied and then traded for Expedition.

I've owned a lot of Michelin tires, most recently the LTX 20" on my Yukon. They ride nice, yet don't wear that well. Same with tires for my Avalon. Like the Conti's...
With Ford Transit vans starting in MY 2020- if you did not order the OEM Factory controller there is NO WAY to add one. Ed Bowers, aka crewvanman is a super knowledgeable sales person at Gary Crossley Ford in Kansas City. He verified this after speaking with his contacts at Ford.
The best...
Had similar issue last year while battery still under warranty. Went to Autozone and their tester said "Bad battery". Took it to Ford dealer and they found a loose ground. No problems since. Weird the ground wire was loose; I bought it new and hadn't done anything with the battery. They didn't...
Bought 7/100K $100 deductible Premium Care from Ziegler Ford for $1,345. I have a 4X2 truck. Then after I got the paperwork about a week later I discovered my 44,000 Ford Pass Points could be redeemed for $220. Ziegler did so over the phone and sent me an email immediately showing a credit back...
Waited until the last moment to decide: 35,971 to pull trigger. Ziegler Ford with Payinfull was best; $1,345 for Premium Care- 7/100K $100 Deductible. Then, I just saw here where Ford Pass points were worth something; had 44,176 (bought a new Transit last year) so that was worth another $221...
