    SHOPPING FOR A NEW EXPEDITION

Almost bought non HD Tow as my camper is 3100# dry. Then I realized it did not have the integrated brake controller and I did want that. I don't use the Backup Assist, yet the Electronic Limited Slip has already saved me from getting stuck. Have 12K miles with 10k towing. My camper loaded for...

    Stuck sun roof

Another reason I wanted XLT. Have owned at least 5 vehicles with sunroofs and have seldom ever used them so this time I knew it was something to avoid- especially these humongous versions.

    $1100 tail light

Wife opened tailgate inside garage just minutes before I was going to set a lower opening height and put a small indent near the license plate with no scratch. $150 later it was perfect. The dentless guy says aluminum can be more difficult as it has more "memory".

Drivers Seat bottom is so uncomfortable!

Moved to 2019 XLT last August from 2013 Yukon. Test drove a Limited and found those seats with OEM leather to be pretty stiff. The XLT with Activex much cushier. Mine are heated/cooled. The depth of the seat is great; am 6'2. The seats are much more comfortable than wife's 2015 Lexus RX 350...

    Tow package fuel economy

Having a 4300 lb.(wet max) Esacape 21 I could have passed on HD Tow, and almost did, yet was able to negotiate a price that was only $500 more than the one at the other Dealer without. Love the integrated brake controller, which I believe is only available with HD Tow, and it has gettyup off...

    Piece of junk

Are you sure the rattle isn't the Dealer's plastic license plate holder? I had to get in the back while my wife drove and couldn't believe it, yet was relieved to was a simple fix.

    2019 Expedition XLT price

Bought a 4x2 XLT 8/29. There was $9,280 in rebates. MSRP $63,150 with destination; negotiated to 49,700 + tax/DMV. Has 202A, HD Towing, Voice activated nav, Driver assistance, 20" rims. Good luck getting what you want at great price. Probably would not have bought otherwise. Very much like it...

    XLT with 202a vs limited

Edmund's and other reccomend XLT w/202A. After reading that and shopping I was amazed at the deals in late August. Got one with HD tow for under $50K. Shoot, 2018's with 30K are asking that. Has the touch nav, 20" wheels, Driver's assistance package- all of which I could care less about. It does...

    Best Tire option

Have Toyo Open Country on new 2019 XLT. Had the Michelins on my 2013 Yukon to help with ride. They were a big improvement over the OEM Bridgestones, however the first set wore prematurely and I dis get some credit from Michelin for a new set. Thought about swapping them onto the new Expy yet...

    Another dealer rip off story

Did you get a written estimate? If not I would dispute the charge with credit card company. Let them run interference for you.

Tow package for extra 4x4 worth it?

Bought a new Expy XLT with 202A as recommended by Edmund's & others. Almost bought one w/o HD Trailer then found one with and it was only $500 more. This was at the end of August with the almost $10K rebates for 4 x 2 XLT's. So for less than $50K I got what I wanted(even the 20" wheels I could...

    My first Expedition

Me too- picked up 8/27 and had to quickly put 1K miles so I could tow our 21 Escape trailer. OMG- coming from a 2013 Yukon 5.3 what an insane difference!! Got the HD trailer package and love the integrated brake controller and 302A. We're at Rocky Mountain NP and the tow for 4300 lbs. is truly...
