That explains a lot on why my dealer recently started pushing plugs for my 2017 that is approaching 60K and my wife's 2014 Fusion with 2.0EB that is around 75K.
Knowing Ford they probably use the same window assembly in both models which is why it doesn't go down all the way. I was searching on this same topic and could find nothing except for one guy cannibalized the rails from the rear doors of an F-150 and put them fit into his Expedition.
I thought about it but since I plug in USB cable to use Android Auto decided it was not really necessary. I might look at installing one in the back for the 3rd row so whichever kid is sitting back there can charge their phone.
The smoked tail lights can look cool, however I'm with MrSticker and do not want to impact the visibility of my vehicle. There are enough idiots on the road so I'll take every advantage I can get to avoid them.
Not to mention that insurance could deny a claim or Police officer could cite you...
2017 Limited EL
I have noticed that sometimes when coming up to a stop light that if the car in front of me has the rear parking sensors that my front parking sensors will start beeping even though I am outside the range to trigger them to go off. Especially noticeable when I pull up behind...
I had this in my Explorer that I traded off back in January to get my Expedition. Exactly what Chuck said, disconnect the battery for 15 minutes and it cleared it right up for me. This causes the computer to wipe and relearn the shift points based on how you drive.
My 2017 Limited EL is rated at 9800 for towing with the HD package, I would recommend a different vehicle with a bit higher rating if you are going to pull 9000 on a regular basis. You can get an F-150 rated for 13K pounds.
First thing I did on my 2017 EL Limited when I bought it back in January, huge difference operation, faster and more responsive for me. My wife has fallen in love with the Android Auto and now wants to drive mine instead of her 14 Fusion.
You have 8 - 10 year loans by the banks to thank for this, over-extend but it is OK because your payment is "low", not that 800 bucks a month is low or the fact that they will end up paying over 100K by time they pay the note off. :rotflmao:
Some nice things done here.
So far I've upgraded the halogen headlights to LED.
Planning on adding a catch can soon.
Then probably some type of tune.
Favorite accessory of all/ever is when I have the boat hooked up to the rear going fishing! :fishing1:
Yes exactly, didn't notice at first but there is a slight dip in RPM's, like maybe 100 or so. Doesn't always do it at a light when I stop but always if I pull up on the window switch. Like the extra current draw is causing the RPM's to dip for a second until the electrical system catches up.
My neighbor just bought a used '14 F-150 Lariat with the same color, looks great in the sun when clean. Very sharp ride you got there! It would look sweet if the grille and rims were a black chrome.
Started raining last night and since my Expy sits outside didn't get a chance to swap the blubs out. I was going to wait until I see how the low beams do before I get the highs. Do you have any pics of the beam patterns?
