Check to make sure it isn't something simple like the blower motor resistor first. I had a Trailblazer that went through 4 of those. They took about 10 minutes to replace and cost about $18. Floor jack suggestions

Weekend shakedown. 99 Expedition rehab project
No plans yet. I might do some stuff in the Spring. For now, I just want to fix the little issues and get through Winter. I traded an old 98 Toyota Camry with tons of miles and $99 for the Expedition. Thanks for all the info. I'll crawl under it this weekend and check those sensors.- Sclass-hole

What were the symptoms when you replaced it last year? Was it not heating up? I've seen them be bad right out of the box so for one to fail in a year wouldn't be impossible.
