it does not say ford or have any part numbers (it is very dirty though) - so you must be correct. I think it looks good back there though, so I typically leave it in. Thanks, Mike- mtondreo

Mine came with it (bought used). The guy told me it came from a navigator-but agree it does cleanup the back some. Mine must have a target don't see though because I have been bumped twice (owned for about 9 months). I don't get bumped when the three way hitch is on there though and it sticks...- mtondreo

LED Bulb vs Halogen
Been a while since I did mine (assuming you are talking about reverse lights). Those look like the same ones I used from v-LEDs. Mine are the 27 LEDs. They are brighter, but not by much. Yes - definitely works. make sure they put resistors inline for the amp turn on to get rid of the turn-on pop. I had to pull mine back out to do it because I forgot. Thanks, Mike- mtondreo

sway bars tend to be a common problem on these. Both bushings and sway bar ends. Not sure if that might be it, but I have to check mine this weekend because of a similar sound that 2 ford dealerships and 2 other independents can not hunt down (new ball joints and tie rod ends).
