Just road in my buddys dads 5.4 expedition with 320K last night with original everything. it sounded and drove good but i did hear a couple of squeaks.
I tried RP in my car and my truck and my truck liked it and my car did not so I did some resurch on it and I ended up draining it from both cars a week later.

I dont really see the mass air as i big restriction in your intake system unless your supercharged. The stock mass air is a 80mm and the throttle body I believe is a 69mm. So If anything id add a 75mm TB and a sct or what ever you want tune.
Is it possible your heater core is clogged? I had the same issue/symptoms with a sho so I removed both coolent hoses off the heater core and attach my air compressor to one side. You wouldnt believe the crap that shot out and after that, all worked well.
Did you check the other plugs to see if they too had the white powdery color on them? if they do then id suspect the PCV elbo on the back of the intake is cracked. I have seen this a million times. Also how I have found vacuum leaks on mine in the past is remove the vacuum hose on the left side...

Yes, Its a powerdyne. I have had it onthere for 8+ years with no issue. I have had this truck for about 10 yrs and have done tuns too it. I have always like the lightning but have too many kids to enjoy one so I made my own (kinda)
