No. I used a PCM from a junk yard with matching #'s and had no problems. My tuner in my truck self-destructed and took my PCM out with it so I went to the junk yard and found a new one and it worked perfectly. I have also swopped out gauges on other expys and never had a problem
I saw one like this in wa but it was a 2009 f150 crew cab for 2100. I didnt bite but my nabor did and tried calling and it was a girl too on a military base
This also cleared a vacuum leak I always thought i had. My lower gasket had a chuck blown out of it probably do to boost. My truck was happy befor but now its really happy.
Thank you! I did this because i am running out of things to do to my beast and now people will be-able to tell that my black carbon fiber hood is on purpose and not just an unpanted hood.
Washed and waxed my roof and the took apart my rear hatch and re-calked all the calking points. It now sounds like a car door when I shut it. They are know for coming apart inside the rear hatch from slamming it closed. Most people probably would never care about this but my OCD prevents me from...
I did this to mine a few years ago. I routed power through another relay that is powered/triggered from the window switch relay so I didn't overload the circuit.
It was awkward for me too. I didn't move because I didn't want them to feel weird that I was sitting in it. They were paying a lot of attention to my intercooler so I am suprized they didn't seem me through my windshield.
I pulled her out and swam to the store with her. While at the store I was sitting inside of her and watched to teens take a bunch of pics of my beast. I guess they couldn't see me because my windows are to dark.
Boo! Its uncommon for fuel pumps to go while driving. If you had full pressure and then it all of a sudden dropped and died while driving id be will to bet its the connection at the pump. You should drop your tank while your waiting for your new pump and check
I Keep telling myself that. One thing I did do to them is I took vinyl wrap and wraped the chrome middle piece. To me it looked allot better or at least on my beast it did.
I pulled her in the garage and let her idle for a bit to test my carbon monoxide resistance and then rubbed all the water off her so she doesn't have any water spots. She is so happy now and tomorrow I will give her a waxing she will never forget....
I may wrap it white soon to see if i like it. If I don't I can just peal it off. My rims are 22"s I thought about going up but then I am sure it would slow me down and probably rub. I may also go with bigger wilwoods brakes in the front too. I did my car and never regretted it.
