    I have a lock pin on mine too. My kids hurt them selves on it before so I use to leave it in the garage but some times I would need it to tow something and not have it so this way I always have it but cant see it and my shins are now safe!

    Nope! no leaks. I dont know anyone who has started leaking when switching to synthetic

    I put fully synthetic in everything. I even have it in my 79 440 motorhome.

    Plastidip. I have been wrapping allot of thing and pretty confident I can do the bumpers. It takes some time doing it tho so I wanted to test if id like the white.

    I use 5-30 fully synthetic in mine.

    What year? if its 97 - 02 then yes.

    Thats a weird sound. Mabey when you rev it up like that till it knocks touch each coil pack and see if it vibrates to the knocking. I am kind of wondering if its you chain tencheners tho

    Agreed with Toms89! Alot of the time I have seen this issue its a loose plug.

    I stated to take mine off but it looked like you would see to much of the frame so I left them I then thought about wraping them but not sure if I want to spend all that tim for it to not work any ways so I painted them gloss black and called it a day. I also have the blue LED's in mine.

    Compression check while warm? Also I wonder if a sensor could be causing some of this. Im pretty sure our expys run on open loop entell warm then closed loop relying on O2's, massair and other sensor info for proper operation. also, The engine tapping could be interfering with your knock sensor...

    Yes, Running boards..... I had a ADD moment! You truck look good! I play alot with plastidip too on everything from my quad to my car but was always leary of doing my running boards or front bumper but I may just have to try it. Ill just peel it off if it doesnt work the way I want it too.

    Have you tried unplugging each coil while running to see if the tapping goes away? Was everything in proper working order before oil pump went? How long was the expy running when the oil pump stopped pumping? And you said the issues happen when warm, is everything normal when cold?

    coolant leak

    Its the hose that runs from the back of the water pump to the back of the motor through the upper valley under your intake manifold. You need to remove the upper manifold to fix this.

    Ha! I did! I used the white on my back hatch. I shaved my windshield wiper and emblems and instead of panting, i wrapped it. It looks allot better with no wiper on the back.

    I got bored and removed my rear windshield wiper and other stuff. Insted of painting I wraped it with white carbon fiber. Was And I did this
