2008 Backup Camera setting?!?
Sabot, I think you're losing it :) I dont think the rear view image was ever available on the factory NAV screen until 09 when sync came out. I have an 08 and mine shows up on the mirror too. Unless it has some aftermarket thing hooked up I dont think there is even a video input going to the...- RI-Matt

2010 expedition limited navigation
09 and up NAV units dont have map discs. It's all hard drive based. If it would work on an 08 Expy I would be interested but I thought I read they aren't backwards interchangable. :( If anyone knows otherwise please let me know. GLWS Matt -
Remove Rear woofer cover
I dont think you can remove the cover from the front. Pop off the tray piece above it and look down inside, I believe the cover has some sort of clips holding it. To take the woofer assembly out you have to take the entire side panel off. HTH Matt- RI-Matt

Towing package
Scottk most EL's came with 3.73 gears. As for the 7pin connector usually indicates HD towing pkg. 2007 Hard downshift to 1st on Stop
Are you talking about a "bump" like you got rear-ended right before you come to a stop? If so there is a TSB for that. TSB # 08-22-7 Driveline bump when braking. May have to bring it to the dealer for a reflash. Matt- RI-Matt

Sorry to say but it cant be turned off :( But there is a hack to make it so you can use all the features while driving ( typing in address etc... ) You can find the manual for sale on fleabay. I used to have a pdf of it somewhere. I will take a look for it and get back to you. Matt- RI-Matt

adding bluetooth to no sync auto
My 08 with factory NAV has "Mobile-Ease" in it. Works great, plays thru the factory stereo and even pauses the CD until your done talking. Not sure how much it costs or how hard it is to install as it was in my Expy when I bought it. HTH Matt- RI-Matt

Trying to buy 07 Limited EL
When I bought my 08 Limited used and saw all the electronics and gadgets it had the extra cost for the ESP was a no brainer. There is alot that could still go wrong no matter how well it was taken care of. Is it out of the factory Powertrain Warranty? Matt- RI-Matt

Looking at a 2010
You can set them to stay deployed while the vehicle is not moving ( such as car washing, or put stuff on roof racks ) but as soon as you go over 5mph they will fold up automaticaly. They actually hang lower than the regular running boards so you're bound to hit something with them deployed all...- RI-Matt
