Reputable places to buy rims?
Great site! I got brand new Coopers on my Expy right now. I've never bought rims for any vehicle, they've always been stock. So do I need tires or can I throw these rims on my cooper's until I want to shell out the $ for tires?- indcolts18288

2004 XLT Odometer glass question
I bought some Mcguires Plastic X and it didn't work. URGH! Read somewhere to try some vinegar and water. I really think it's on the inside but I'm iffy on removing the dash cluster. Maybe I can take it to FORD and they can just replace the plastic at a decent price.- indcolts18288

I took it to the dealership and yes it's definitely the torque converter. Now I'm just waiting to hear back from them here in the next few min hopefully as far as if they're going to take care of it for me or if I have to pay as the warranty states which is half. I thought of that too. I'll only be on the hook for half the cost but considering I've had it a little over a week I'm gonna be a pain in their ass and see if they'll just take care of it. Doesnt do it when shifting at all. Does it when I accelerate. Say I'm cruising at about 45mph. Well if accelerate at that speed it happens. Noticed it a littke when accelerating from about 50mph too. Ill make sure to check back here tomorrow and let everyone know what the dealership says.- indcolts18288

Vibration when accelerating in the 45-50MPH range? Torque Converter? Same issue I had with '02 Exploder. When I'm idling with my foot on the gas in my '04 Expy XLT at about 45mph and then accelerate slightly I get this vibration up front and sounds like when u run over those things some roads...- indcolts18288

Not sure. Guess I will try and get to it and if I can't I'll take it to Ford to have it replaced. Can't imagine it costing that much. It's just annoying. 2004 XLT Odometer glass question
The plastic/glass cover that goes over all the gauges like odometer, speedometer, etc has some type of film on it on the inside. Maybe due to some kind of moisture? How can I remove the plastic so I can clean it, it's bugging the crap outta me. Thanks!- indcolts18288
