they used to make a bumper for our trucks i know buckstop dose for sure though. i hope your able to get that truck fixed it looked real nice, specially the color, i dont see many in that color
if your like me you need the tank because your friends have these small little 4 cylinder cars that have a back seat thats only comfortable if your under 4 feet tall, Im 5'8" and trying to get in my girlfriends friends hyundai sonata is the most painful experience i ever deal with.....Now I...
added to my list of parts I need lol glad you posted this thread because I need them soon and i dont want to get oe ford style seeing as they rust really good
they do make bumpers for our trucks along with buckstop i like those bumpers alot. I know u like the look of the pre runner bar but it doesn't offer much protection if anything it causes more damage from the looks of it. i hope walnuts dont see your post about cowl hoods being left to chevys...
i call mine a truck suv sounds weird lol. i usually refer to it as Big Red or The Monster lol. i love how my truck towers all my friends cars and now every time some one needs help Im the first one they call. out of my friends only one guy has something to top mine and thats a 7.3 liter...
i didnt know it was illegal to have the hitch in while driving in some states. Im glad illinois is not like that. i would be in alot of trouble by now probably . had to take the chain off mine tho. one of the bolts came loose and i was dragging it and shooting out sparks, after that i just took...
btw sory if i kinda ignored the thread for a while. the sound had stopped for a few days and i actually forgot that i posted this topic ( i forget stuff quickly and have some slight add) lol
okay how do you check the u joints the sound is happening more now but it gose away after about 30 seconds and now it changes with the trucks speed (again there is no rock in my tire i know better than this lol) my dad says maybe the breaks need to be redone so im ordering those possibly...
i did that last night lmao i was like what the hell am i smelling burning? i looked down towards the floor and i see the parking brake pressed down im like ah shit, nothings broke tho, just gonna end up doing my rear brakes sooner lol
that thing dose not look like the frame is bent at all. the bumpers definitely shot though lol. you should really consider a road armor bumper now though. i know i would get one of those if i had the money for one. time for a cowl induction hood now lol. check junkyards for the headlights...
my spectre drop in is alot better then the k and n drop in, mine actually flows better then the k and n dose, but I dont need it any more seeing as i have a full cold air intake kit now but i think spectre filters flow better then k and n
i would get a guard it just seems right to have on these trucks. that was the first thing i put on mine......run in front of me now you stupid deers lol. those guards help protect the truck from a good amount of damage if you hit a deer...or a car.... or drive through your garage.
do the bolts on the back side rub on the paint? I want one but I see it leading to rust issues down the road- and i know Im going to own my truck until the odometer rolls over so i want the body to last as long as possible with no issues. im considering getting a second fuel door from the...
too much chrome is bad. only chrome i have is my bumpers wheels and door handles now and the only other chrome is going to be the fuel door. personally i think the chrome belt line trim looks cheap i would never use that on my truck and i think it will ruin the look of your truck ross.
i think thats everyones solution because its the easiest lol. i understand why you dont want to change them but the coils are alot more reliable in some ways. and its just alot less to go wrong down the road. my dads friend has an expedition with rear air bags and hes replaced every single piece...
thank you thermo. Im going to check that either today or tomorrow. im going to get either some ebc or wagner brake pads to replace the ac delco crap (dont ask me why someone used ac delco parts on a ford)
it dosent change. again there are no rocks stuck in my tires and its not constantly their. I checked my cv shafts and their fine. so my guess is breaks or shocks. the truck has all its power so it dosent seem like its a major issue or anything wrong. i just get annoyed by the sound
why not just convert to coils like it was done on my 2002? its so much better and more reliable then that air system. my truck had the coil over upgrade done when i bought it and i was happy it came with the coils already because if it had air i was going to change it out any ways
no rock in the tire as mentioned i checked for that imediately. if it was the cv joints wouldnt it be constant though/ this sound is not constant it only happens for like 5 to 10 seconds then it stops.
so this just started about 2 days ago an this is very weird for a few reasons. number one i only hear this sound at night its a loud click sounds like its fro either the tires brakes or suspension. problem is cant see anything wrong. i only hear it for a few seconds after i go over a speed bump...
the bags are 85 bucks shipped fro summit racing, i like that there adjustable though where as the coil spacers are not. my dad has these on his truck too and he is happy with them, more unless i want the because then i can hopefully crank my torsion bars and get atleast 2 inches lift front and...
so my truck has coils in the rear and although its not sagging im going to get the firestone ride assist air bags to shove inside the rear coils and raise my rear end between 1 to 2.5 inches. then i can raise my front end maybe two inches. anyone else use those bags?
yea i have the tow ball in the receiver and the chain hanging from the loops on the side of the receiver....maybe ill stick a meat hook on the chain lol. definitely not putting the balls tho lol
