i used regular rustoleum on my stock exhaust and on the pipes on the dual exhaust i have now. it actually holds up real good to heat it seems like it bakes on and gets tougher
trans-dapt makes a filter relocation kit. for 55 bucks i think its well worth it. my hand is all cut up and my knuckle is bruised from when the ratchet and filter wrench slipped off and i punched the axle. top it all off the filter was an ac delco filter, now its a motor-craft filter fits much...
Changed my oil today and used motor-craft synthetic blend 5w 20. good stuff. but why did they mount the oil filter ABOVE the front axle!? my hand is all busted up now from fighting with stupid wrench and filter now and im really considering getting an oil filter relocation kit from summit racing...
my guard is made to fit from a 1997-2002 ford expedition and f150. Im not sure what brand the one you are looking at is but the brackets may be slightly different, I know my guard had one extra set of brackets that the 97-98 dose not have.
i saw a set of wrangler dura tracs on an expedition at work today......yea Im definetly getting those tires they look badass on my truck even with the stock rim :pepper:
honestly I think they both look ugly and I agree that coating is cheap I seen alot of 150s lately with that grille and its all peeling off badly. i would just spray paint ur stock grille black and add like a chrome mesh behind the stock grille
prolly gonna go with the BFGs then lol, yea thats what ive heard that 285 is as wide as i can go, I have seen some guys fit 315s though idk if they trimmed or not tho
hell no to retreads, i like the design of the wranglers by me most tire shops carry them, Im only going to go with one of two tires either the wranglers or the all terrains, around here in chicago nitto cooper and general tire are not that popular and if you want them they will order them but it...
yea i saw the general grabber im kinda leaning more towards the wranglers though, procomp cost too much and i have heard alot of bad about nitto tires. One of the things i like more about the goodyear wranglers are the sidewall design. im sticking with the wranglers or bfgs mainly cause of the...
so Im going to need tires prolly by winter, Im between the BFGOODRICH all terrain or the goodyear Wrangler Dura Trac. which tires you guys think will look better on my truck along with perform better? the size i will be going with is 285/70/R17 seeing as Im told 305/70/R17 will rub at the stock...
test it out by ramming a honda civic lol. i dont think it will make your truck sag, do what i did open your hood and sit on the edge of the engine bay and see if your front end goes down, I weigh 200 lbs and my truck did not budge lol :big_banana_Dance:
