    yes it can be done on the ground, i helped my dad do his, it took about 5 hours, we broke a snap on breaker bar, two socket adapters, rounded out one socket and nearly tipped his truck over on top of me. sound like were idiots? well were not, the tools we were using were all SNAP ON brand...

    no offense to you baker I like your truck and the gauges but I dont think the fight of disassembling the dash and pulling off those needles is worth it, i tried doing this at the junkyard because i wanted to see how hard it was to do, lets just say its not something for people with low patience...

    well I removed my rear cats, my truck sounds amazing now, those flowmaster 40s really come to life with no rear cats. no CEL as of now and i been driving alot this morning, atleast about 40 miles so far, Im hoping the light stays off and i dont need to install the non foulers on my 02s

    I know on my dads 97 he had some carbon build up on the throttle plat after 100,00 milescleaning it may improve ur idle, I would suggest crc throttle body cleaner

    I know im like killing this thread lol. but im considering to remove my rear cats very soon. this is my set up: 02 sensors on each side, pre cat each side, main cat each side, 02 sensor each side behind both rear cats. if i remove the rear cats I was told by my exhaust guy the CEL WILL come on...
