You bought the wrong vehicle if you really want to mod it out without doing custom one off builds. Here’s a few work arounds if you haven’t found them already.
Winch
I finished installing warn VR 12-S winch on Expedition 20...
F-11 is a dust magnet and washes of quickly. Krytox is what you want and silicone spray for the surround gasket. If you are not aware turtle wax seal and shine is super cheap and out last F-11 by months if your not into high end coatings.

The Expy rear locker does a great job locking the rear tires together IMO. The off roading I have done I have had zero trouble. Pulling our boat out of the water is actually easier with the rear locked than in 4 auto or shifting into 4L. It does not offer the bulletproof lock of a pin lock style...
The sun roofs need to be maintained. Ford has had this problem since they introduced it on the F-150’s. I wish you could order a upper trim level with a sunroof/moonroof delete option. My Superduty does not have the big glass roof and it is so much quieter inside than my F-150 was with the...
Double check that you are using a genuine Apple cable. Then look at the lighting end and see if it looks burnt or dirty. They should all look gold not black. I ruin cables all the time in my truck. I get in with snow or water on my boots then the cable falls onto my mats and shorts them out...
Stop arguing and complaining about tires and man up and get the ultimate snow set up if you can’t handle the snow. [emoji1743]

I have had good luck with the NOCO’s. I have several of them. A old 3500. A new 10 and three 1’s for constantly connected trickle charging for my toys and lawnmower. I also have a Optima 1200 that has not let me down, but it can’t do lithium like the NOCO’s.

Do you have a high quality AGM charger? If not one can probably save it. If you do then it’s probably toast. People need to remember that an AGM at 12 volts is around 50% state of charge. But you can only use up to 50% so it basically 0%. Usually anything below 11 volts causes damage. My Expy...
I am putting it in my Superduty. It still has been awesome. The new one is a 75. It has two separate bins so we can have a freezer and fridge. It’s not as tall as the Lion so the lids are easier to open. Fits with the rear seats up and can be accessed through the rear window.

Good luck with that. We used Schaefer’s for a few years. Bought barrels and pallets at a time. We started having trouble with the oil going into the turbo of the new 6.7 Powerstroke. Bearing failure on equipment. Grease running out of the pins in our excavators. Several blown Duramax’s and CAT...
Big screens and shiny things get me every time. But I have to say I have been looking at the same interior since 16’. My F-150, Superduty and Expy all have the same design. So a refresh is welcome.

Kinda off topic but do the new 10 speed F-150’s have a 4H. My last F-150 was a 16’ and had it and my 18’ Superduty has it but they both have the 6 speed.

My wife’s 2020 Aviator has the “Phone as Key” feature. I imagine it will work it’s way to the Expy and trucks in a few years. My wife didn’t like it. She keeps her keys in a zipped pocket in her purse. If she forgets her purse will gabbing on the phone the car will not unlock. So she knows she...
My current Superduty, my old 16’ F-150 had the same thing plus one for the rear seat. They shared the same inverter though. PD ports are where it’s at these days. DC to DC is way more efficient.

I have found if the Ford Pass app is running in the background the response time is pretty good. Including the Apple Watch app. If it is closed out it takes forever to say it started. The watch app seems to go to refresh after it sends the command. I have been right next to it and the Expy would...
Have you stuffed the wheels in all directions? Mine doesn’t rub going to get groceries. Expy Dave wants to use his off road and I do use mine off road. What little it can handle. That’s what we are looking for. If staying in the 11”-11.5” wide tire is the answer it would open up a entire new...
You should be fine. I am really considering the narrower tire as well. If one inch in tire width really makes up for a -12 wheel. And still gives you a little poke. That may be my out. I need to start a big tire, wide wheel, fully stuffed thread so we can see the real truth.
