Passenger side lower grill is the radar sensor. There is only one, on the F-150's it is on the drivers side. The piece can be pried off with a trim tool starting at the bottom first. I think it also uses info from the camera in the windshield. The other sensors on the front bumper are the...
Do you have a really small trailer with only a couple lights or no electric brakes? Mine will not work on a little 12' trailer with only the rear lights and no brakes. All my other trailers will register connected and disconnected. I was told to make sure there is a good ground from the...
Sick, calling them tomorrow, I wonder if they can bob it little in the rear for more clearance. How long did it take to build? I am sure it was expensive so would you PM me the price if you don't want to post. Thanks
Mine just showed up with the 21N08 and I still have the 21B10 showing. I wonder if getting the 21B10 is worth a shot now that I have the new update. Not sure why they need to program the transmission to get oil pressure in the cam phasers anyway. My 10R80 shifted like crap when I first got...
You might have something wrong with your trailer wiring. Even if you don't plug in the trailer when the Expy is running. Upon start up it will find the trailer and go through the warning OK's.
This is what the Expy has, the circled picture is the oil to water heat exchanger .
This is what the Raptor has. The oil cooler on the Raptor is on the drivers side in front of the radiator positioned in the middle and does not go all the way across. The aftermarket cooler take the cooler...
But it's only 0.9 seconds faster 0-60 than the little EcoBoost. Not the 3.5, and if I remember right they also put the 3.5 in their supercar not the 5.slow.
The 10R80 in the 18'-21' Expy uses a heat exchanger that used the radiator fluid to heat and cool the transmission. The F-150 Raptor has the heat exchanger and an external oil cooler with a thermostat. I have yet to find anyone that will confirm you can upgrade to the Raptor oil cooler. The...
What I can't figure out about Ford is my Expy's frame has a nice looking paint job and has held up well in Utah's over salted roads. So has the body ( low miles). But right off the lot the rear drive line is pre rusted, the axles and the rear diff. The part number is literally stuck to a rusty...
The secret to sand is airing down and momentum. Stay away from aggressive mud style tires. They seem to dig in and not float unless you have a lot of HP. When I had my Raptor I found the BFG KO2’s did the best in the sand dunes compared to my buddy’s with the Toyo’s and Generals. I would also...
Just dropped off the Expy at the dealer. My vin still shows the 21B10, I asked about the the 21N03 update. He said it is a fixed version of the 21B10. He said some users have reported shifting problems and erratic behavior after the 21B10 flash. He recommended not getting the 21B10 and wait...
Button on the top of the center stack turns the lane assist off. I think its the one next to the hazard button. When it's off the little lane screen on the bottom of the gauge cluster goes away. Menu just changes the alert level and correction level.
My Ford dealer is always booked out 2 weeks plus for service. It goes in tomorrow for an oil change. They called today and said there is a new recall for the cam phasers and asked if I could bring it in two hours early to do the update then the oil change. I always wait, they said they would...
I have the Ford Performance splash screen and the Lincoln black UI. But when it shuts down it shows another Lincoln splash screen. Is there a way to get rid of that? Only problem I have had with the Lincoln UI is the Mood Lighting colors do not match the screen color choice. All the colors...
Thanks for the plug DWs_TTEB
I have not found anything you can just buy and install expect the Baja Forged one and it requires trimming and a lowering kit. If you look at my thread posted above I feel their solution is a total waste of time and money. They lower their trick bumper to clear the...
I took the 22's off and went with 20's and 35" tires thinking it would be good compromise since I take mine off road all the time. Big mistake, you can still curb a 20 on 35's (wife). I wish I would have went 18's especially if you are not wanting a bigger tire. I also made the mistake of too...
I have been torn on doing this. I kinda like the C pillar breaking up the giant rear of my Max. I am not sure why you guys don't wrap the C pillars. Mine are so swirled they almost look white in the sun. Same with the D pillar.
Made a few prototypes, one with screws showing through the front for easy install and one with the screws hidden. The two pieces will sandwich the plastic bumper pieces and the sensor at the same time. The silver is not a perfect match, but should be good enough. Once I get them to fit I will...
