I found a carpeted mat for the cargo area (3rd row folded down) that matches the SPP interior (black with red stitching). I thought Limited SPP people might want to see.
I got the Lloyd Mats "Ultimat" which is a dense cut pile carpet with a heavy rubber backing. Black with black binding and...
So I found a feature that I didn't see in the manual. I have the 15 inch screen. While listening to the radio I can push the ring inward and turn it one click and I end up on a mostly blank screen with the date, time, and a few icons.
What is this called?
What else can pushing the ring do...
I am interested in the Lloyd Mats cargo carpeted liner. Looking for reviews if anyone has tried a Lloyd Luxe liner of any sort?
They are customizable. I can order one in black, with black edge binding and red stitching. It will match my new SPP perfectly, I just want to know if people like...
I also want to be able to get in and drive in case my primary key and fob go missing.
I am now thinking put the mechanical key in the hitch vault (externally accessible) and then hide the spare fob in the truck in a faraday cage/bag.
Thanks for the faraday bag idea!!!
My main concerns are
* Lost key
* Dead battery
The keypad on the door solves neither.
* Can't drive without a key
* Keypad won't work with dead battery
This come from years of car camping at festivals. Very easy to lose a key in a hay field. Also very...
I am confident I could program the new fob. I read the manual and it seems easy enough.
But since I would also need the key cut by the dealer I might as well just get the key when I purchase the truck next week and let them do it all.
Thanks.
On my old expy I kept a spare key in a "hitch safe" (see picture). It's a little lock box that goes in the trailer hitch receiver. I'd like to do the same on my new 2023, but I am concerned that having the fob there would allow anyone to open the doors.
Has anyone done this?
Is the hitch...
So the dealer just called. My new expy is in!
I want extra keys but I have a question. Lots of advice on this forum says just buy the fob and program it yourself. Fair enough. I could easily do that.
But doesn't the expedition fob also have a mechanical key inside of it? (like my wife's...
Before you invest in repairing them check the rest of the underside. My rockers rusted. That was easy to spot. But my lower control arms were also rusted to heck.
30 minutes? Do you use a lift? ramps? a jack?
Looking for tips. I want to start doing my own, but I don't wriggle around under a vehicle as well as I used to.
So even the AV low profile models is stick on?
Great!
And the truck is black so the color will be fine. One of the reasons I love a black car with a black interior. Accessories always match.
On my 2010 Expy I had in channel visors. I had the bouncing problem and eventually the regulator on the window failed outright. If you have interference problems my $0.02 would be to return them before they hurt the truck.
