In two years of ownership of a ‘22 Limited Stealth, I’ve had the window button issue one time and the sound from the head liner once. I called the dealer regarding the button and they told me how to reprogram it. I brought it to the dealership for the headliner. For the life of me, I can’t...
My wife rotates and slides out, bypassing the running boards completely. It annoys the hell out of me. I’ve refrained from saying anything for the past two years as she’s truly great and treats me like gold. (Even more so since some major medical “issues” came to light with me this past...
Looking for suggestions for tires for my ‘22 Stealth. (285/45-22 size tires) I live in upstate NY, 4 miles to the top of a fairly steep hill. The General Grabbers that came OEM are horrible in the snow and need replacing. I’m now in a conundrum trying to decide if I want to go with an AT tire (I...
What shop supplies were needed? Rubber gloves and mask? There’s less than $1 in supplies. Even if there was a fee for hazardous waste..say $30. The $75 is exorbitant, as there is far less than 3 minutes of labor involved. The dealership charges the same for cash or credit card. Even the guy I...
I just thought this was funny enough to share. I had my Expedition at the dealership for an oil change/tire rotation. The counter guy came out and told me that the tech found a mouse nest behind the battery. I went and looked at it, and sure enough, a mouse nest was located in a wide-open space...
I removed the roof racks (cross bars) the week I purchased my Expedition…has anyone removed the rails? If so, is there a part that slips into its place once removed?
Slow the F*ck down...unless you're driving up a hill with snowy roads...then get your momentum at the bottom of the hill and do your damndest to keep your momentum going up the hlll...don't stop! We live in upstate NY and on top of a mountain in our town. One thing we've learned is that if...
I'm sure with a little programming on Ford's end, they could make it happen. It's a screen, so it can display whatever signal is sent to it. I get what you're saying, and they'd definitely not do it to try to get you to buy a 2025...but I believe if they wanted to, it could be done.
I’m waiting for an update that will let you have the navigation screen in the digital instrument display. It’ll never happen, but it would be a great feature!
If you go into the settings, it has a toggle that turns it on and off. If left in the on position, it will stay on at night. A light blue color. In my 2016 F150 Platinum, you could change the color of the ambient light, too. But not so in the new Expeditions.
I have a 2022 Stealth with the 15.5" screen. I have two different issues and I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issue(s):
1. I utilize a USB thumb drive for music, when I'm not listening to XM. Recently, when playing, the display or home screen for the USB on a whim...
For the screen blanking out, push and hold each of these buttons on the steering wheel for at least five seconds: the volume down button and the "next song" button. The buttons are the very bottom left and bottom right buttons on the steering wheel. This will reset the screen anytime it...
The inflatable belts are thicker, and the buckle has a different look to it than a normal buckle. I doubt it would be an easy swap if you don't have them. I'm sure they're tied into the whole safety system of the car, which triggers the air bag to deploy on impact. My F-150 Platinum had them.
True! I know I could've gotten a "base" Navigator for what I paid for my Expedition. But I'm pretty sure I got more features for my money with the Ford. I've got the 15.5" screen...I love it AND loathe it. LOL
I ordered an F-150 Raptor on April 2, 2022. It took so long to be built, they had to turn it into a 2023 and Ford upped the MSRP $4000 with no changes or improvements at all from a '22 to the '23. It arrived in late March of 2023. So, it took almost a year. I got impatient and bought an...
I think the 25's may come with a heads up display, which I sorely miss in my 22 Stealth. I had it in a 2016 Yukon Denali and my wife has it in her 22 Palisade. A feature I can't believe is taking Ford so long to offer.
UPDATE: So, I spoke with my dealer about the issue. He gave me different items to troubleshoot. First, he told me to hook my phone up to a portable speaker and try a call through it to see if I have the same static through the speaker. The speaker sounded great. He then suggested to make a...
So, I spoke with my dealer about the issue, as I'm having the same one. He gave me different items to troubleshoot. First he told me to hook my phone up to a portable speaker and try a call through it to see if I have the same static through the speaker. (to see if it's my Expedition, or my...
