    If you remove the starter and the bendix is grinding on the flywheel you'll see the teeth worn down some. I'd probably go ahead and have a spare starter on-hand just in case.

    Wow, great response. I have even dealt with an EGR stuck open and did not think of it. A piece of carbon broke loose in my daughters old car and got caught in the EGR so the car died each time she stopped.

    Never heard of Drag Radial Performance, but eliminating the PATS system would be nice. I have no interest in PATS or several other systems in my Expedition quite frankly. There are shops that have figured out how to remove systems, modules, specific lines of code etc.. for some vehicles.
