I agree with the tire talk. I feel it is the most important thing an end user can do to their car to help or hurt the ride. I had put some Bridgestone Dueler Alenza on the 18 before we traded and they were light years ahead of the hankooks. I think they were wearing rather quickly but I’m not...
I would also agree that 550 would have been a great target but one fact for sure is that 90% of the f250s sold with the diesel are being SEVERELY under used!!!! I have several friends and work with several more guys who own them and not one of them toes anything that would require anything over...
Just curious. What are they asking for the expy? I would really be interested in that to put a 5.0 in. And I will be buying another expy next year for myself.
If you are just messing around and have a little coin laying around. A 5.0 swap would be dope!!!! Supercharge it and you would have a gem of a ride. I guarantee you that 5.0 would fit relatively easily. With all the parts available for the 150, it would probably not cost a huge amount to pull...
what options are there for getting to 3.3 im afraid the 2019 that i just drove off the damn lot with!!!!! is maxed out at 3.0. i would be interested in options to get to 3.3.
i will say this is quite irritating. i have read this is because of a difference of .5GB of storage allocation between...
yall are both wrong. while 16 is technically correct, you changed the angles....... but the trailing arms is what does it. it is the only linkage on a plane perpendicular to normal up and down travel that would cause forward or backwards motion. the more you lift it, the more they are coming...
what are they going to fix? they are wasting your time. there is no fix available. MOST ecoboost will do this at some point. Im not saying there isnt a fix, im saying there is not one discussed, published, available, acknowledged, etc.
would love to know what they are "fixing" for you
we already got the new one! but no it didnt effect my decision. its a little bit of valve noise before the vvt kicks in. i dont think its the end of the world. annoying, yes, detrimental......not sure???? there are lots of these trucks with 200,000-300,000 miles on them.
now that we are...
Yes, so do both of my friends 2018s. So do the used ones we looked at for me (I’m about to get a used XLT for work) they all had valve noise upon start up.
Every fourth gen I have come across with over 10k on the odometer sounds exactly like that. My 2018 sounded identical. Kept the finest synthetic every changed every 5k. The new one doesn’t but it only has 500 miles
10% of the engine hangs forward of the front axles. It is NOT mid engine.
I never said it did define whether in front or behind the driver, the definition said most mid engine whirled are behind the driver which is true. At least today.
also 10% of the motor is forward of the front axles...
